Super Comfortable. Fits Really Well

Construction wise is really good for a trail running shoe. Got it on sale

Hot Spot Generator

I really don’t like to be negative about this brand. I’ve owned several of their shoe models before and they have served me very well. But these Genesis are absolutely destroying my feet. On my right foot I’ve got three hot spots that fire up every time I wear these shoes and two on my left foot. The shoe is incredibly supportive, and the foot bed is very comfortable. But the top side feels so rigid that there’s just no give to mold to the foot. I’ve given them a week of daily wear to see if they would break in, but at this point, I just don’t think I can take it anymore.

Not Washer Safe

Unfortunately upon wearing the very comfortable and well-fitting shoes I had received from Salomon.com I found one of those defects of the product. It does simply not go through the washer (I suppose) and it does not work or exist in the dryer. unfortunately the rubber had created a crease in the plastics that did not decompress over time. A single roommate told me that I should continue to wear them to see if they may be "worked-in" so I will try that and see if it works. I can not risk my feet, my ankle, my leg, my composer, I use my legs heavily and that would cause some serous problems and issues if I were to take a fall. So this is a posted update. Thank you. **
