The Genesis is a good shoe, but I've become spoiled with the S/Lab version. I thought I'd try these out, since they're cheaper, but found that I really liked the gravel guard around the ankle of the S/Lab version, so I've opted to pay the higher price.

I forget I am wearing them, so so so comfortable. Incredibly soft despite so many hours wearing.

This is the most comfortable shoes that I have ever owned.

I work as an Uber driver, which involves long hours of driving and sometimes lifting items; these shoes provide excellent comfort and offer a good degree of toe protection.

VeryComfortable , easy to run on the trail on the mountain don’t slippery. The grape is really good. I love this shoes.

These are my first trail runners for hiking and had my reservations on the adaptability that these would have on the trails that I hike. So far that have far exceeded my expectations in all categories and quick lace system has been fantastic as well! Bought these on sale and the comfort, grip, and versatility have already made me look forward to the genesis 2's

These shoes are awesome for both day hiking and trail running. After a considerable amount of us they have held up impressively well, still look great, and still feel fantastic to wear. Highly recommend.

Comfortable right out of the box, however I havent used on the trails yet. Fit was good, however I did size up a half size. I learned my lesson after my toes got hammered at my first 28 mile event a few weeks back. I bought them for my next 50km. Solomon now has a new fan!

Soles are already coming loose two months in. Seems the quality has went down in these shoes over the last couple years

Bought these about a month ago and they are great! Pretty light, good grip in pretty much all conditions and comfortable. When I am running I just don't have to worry about my feet or shoes at all.

I've run close to 150 miles in these shoes. The treads have maintained their life very well so far. However, this shoe is not for technical trails. There is minimal ankle support so I use these only for fire roads that have smooth terrain. Bigger issues is that I am pronated and after about 75 miles, the shoe started changing shape. It's deformed. I would not buy these again for sure. The Sense Ride is so much better.

Only tried these on the road so far but they were comfy and fun to run fast in! A little heavy at first but then they felt good. The fastening system is confusing. I wish they had a YouTube tutorial

Trails by me are super rocky, rooted and muddy and this shoe tackles them great. Very durable and easy to adjust, could use a little better energy return if speed is your goal BUT I would gladly buy these again for daily trail runs of any distance:)

This is second trail running shoes, and it is quite light and durable.

I have been running and hiking in these shoes for about a month, here are my thoughts: 1. the toe box is too small. I am usually comfortable with many different shoe designs, but these have caused blisters on the outside of my little toe. 2. Fortunately, it is possible to diminish this issue. The lace pull makes it easy to adjust pressure on different parts of the foot, or to tighten laces when descending and loosen them when ascending, but I find myself having to make adjustments often enough that it is frustrating. 3. when cinched tight, the shoes are very stable, and get good grip on loose scree as well as big rocks.
