8ft Of Pure Fun
I bought this to have it as my backpacking/camping set I use it for a trip to Pine Creek caught some browns with it, I pair it with a rise reel, and use some dry flies, very lightweight and packable.

Great Rod -- But No Case With It, Which Makes It Less Of A Deal
I purchased the 8'6" 5wt version of this rod. It's great--exactly what I was looking at a fantastic price. Why 4 stars? This is the first time a Reddington rod has arrived without a storage tube. Dicks charged me $20 less than a couple of online fly shops, but it would cost me $50 to buy the case separately.
In all fairness, the fly shops include an image where this rod is shown with its case, and Dick's online did not have that image.
Fortunately for me, I was buying a replacement for a similar rod and am able to use the old case.

Awesome Rod
I purchased this rod about 1 month ago, a 9ft 4wt. It is a great rod, sensitive, and really gets the job done. I've caught some very nice Trout on it with no problems. I paired it with a Reddington Behemoth reel, an excellent set up.

Quality Made And A Solid Reputation
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a lot of research on this rod and it is beyond expectation. It balances perfect with my trout reel. The rod action requires no overlining.
