Best Boot Ever

Beat boot ever made. The longterm companionship is worth the break in process. Hot in the cold cool in the heat.

Amazing

A little hard to break in overall an amazing boot fits like a glove after you wear it for about 2 months. One of the best boots I've ever owned. Only downside is that it doesn't have the midsole.so the shock absorption is basically zero

They Last For Wide Feet

i have very wide feet that blow out the side of any shoe i purchase in a matter of months. finally spent some real money on proper footwear. 3 years of daily wear. out for re-treading now. based on time of use, these are actually the lowest cost footwear i've owned at this point - and so comfortable.

Better Than I Thought.

Just received these today. They're not as bad for the break in than I thought they were going to be based on what I've seen on YouTube and friends statement. I have been collecting resoleable footwear for about 4yrs. Mainly Grant Stone which all have a midsole except for their loafers. When comparing to my Grant Stone's I'd say that the comfort is on par however, if you're coming from sneakers you may think that these are not comfy out the box. My friend said it best, he compared the comfort to a pair of Birkenstocks which have nothing but cork as the insole. He was spot on with that comparison. They are pretty comfy on the feet when walking. I wouldn't write home about the QC. If you think you're going to get a pair of Grant Stone quality QC you're going to be disappointed. The QC is a 7.5 out of 10 and the comfort is about 8 out of 10. I find it's overall a keeper but that's only because I got 20% off on these which doesn't happen much so I jumped on the sale with TAD. These are going to be my poo kickers so I don't care what they look like as long as they are comfy I have no issues with these. I went full size down from brannock and it fits like well.

I’m Sure They’re Great If You Get The Right Size

I bought these about 6 or 7 weeks ago. I went into the store twice. The 2nd time was to buy the boots. The first time the guy said I’d wear an 8.5 D and offered the slim insoles. They were extremely comfortable. I hesitated because of the price. I went back a few days later to buy them and this time it was a woman and she said the guy was wrong, and that I should wear an 8D with a completely different insole. She was insistent on me being an 8D and said they’ll stretch about a half an inch. Well I’ve worn them nearly everyday and they have not stretched that much, and my feet consistently hurt. They feel extremely tight still and I’m pretty disappointed. She wouldn’t even let me try on an 8.5D.

I purchased my iron rangers 6 months ago they salesman recommended a 9D and after wearing them through break in period they are to short and snug so they sit in my closet as visual piece.

Awesome Boots

These are the best casual boots I've ever owned. I'll easily wear these for 10+yrs. Make sure you get the correct size and you'll have a pair of boots that fit like a glove. The break in wasn't hard for me at all.

Awesome Boot

This boot is better than advertised. I am so glad I made this purchase. Break in was short and no issues what so ever. Would love it if it came in a more reddish/burgundy color.

Make Sure They Fit

Bought my boots at the store about a year ago. The boots are well made and look great, but the salesman at the store sold me a 8.5 D and they are too tight. I usually wear a wide width boot and thought they were too tight, the salesman said they would stretch and I would “be swimming “ in the EE. After purchasing a boot stretcher I can wear them for short periods.

Great

I was wear 8111 per 10 years, the best boots od the world

A Long Lasting Classic

I was surprised to get a compliment on my old Iron Rangers today. I've had this pair for around 17 years and they're still going strong. Second set of heels, plenty of life left in the sole and they're about as broken in as a boot can be!

About two weeks ago… I’ve purchased my first pair of Red Wing boots, and by far it’s the best investment I’ve made for my feet. I’ve decided to go with the Iron Rangers, due to the simplicity and history of the boot. These boots are on a different level of comfort, took about a couple of days to get used to them and using Red Wing’s boot cream makes the leather a little more supple, that led to the boots feeling more natural then any other boots I’ve worn. Lastly, adding the leather laces does make a difference! Looking for more steps and journeys with these Iron Rangers.

got this for 16 years the are the best just now i need to do the hills

Look Good, Just Not Good For Walking Around So…

Have been super brand loyal to RedWing since 1900’s..best quality, durability, comfort, looks. Unfortunately very disappointed in the Iron Ranger have been braking them in for 10 months now but still don’t fit right, uncomfortable. It’s like they are too big and too small at the same time? Weird.

Amazing Boots

These are the best boots you will ever own. I’ve been wearing my new Iron Rangers for about two days, eight hours a day, and they are by far the best boots I’ve had. Yes, they feel a bit tight right now, and my pinky toe hurts slightly, but that’s part of the break-in period. I’m confident they’ll feel even better once they’re fully broken in. The quality and comfort are absolutely worth it. I would highly recommend these boots if you’re looking for something versatile, perfect for a work environment, casual wear, or even with a suit. A great investment overall.
