Best Boots

The build quality on these Red Wing 1907 boots is seriously impressive. They definitely need a break-in period, but once they break in, oh man—they feel amazing. The fit is great, especially if you have the people at the store measure your feet and help you find the right size. I wear mine every day and honestly have nothing bad to say. They even came with both leather and nylon laces, which is a nice touch. Easily five stars.

Pure Love

I have had my copper rough and toughs, for about 6 months now. The first month was a bit rough through the break in, after that they just keep getting better. Mine are 1/2 size below bannock size, the store recommended going down 1 size, but that was too short and too tight. I typically wear a medium width shoe and the medium worked well for me in these. They are a bit snug in the width, but just kind of the way I like. I am supprised how much better my feet feel at the end of the day. I would recommend these to anyone. For conditioner I have used Bick's 4, and they have almost no effect on changing the color. I love the copper and really want to keep it that way.

The Leather Almost Glows

I had to stifle the urge to apply some conditioner. It is better without it, there's almost a glow to the leather. I ordered my standard Bannock size and it was a good fit. I took the accompanying insole out and replaced it with my orthotic and everything works very well. A boot to go many places. Great choice of leather, RW!

Most Comfortable Boot!

I bought these about 3 years ago. I must say, they took a bit to break in. I’d say about 2-3 weeks of consistent wear. But man they’re the most comfortable once you get past that. They mold to your foot, and with the leather insole fitting like a custom made glove. The copper rough and tough age like fine wine. Just keep looking better with use. Best boots I have ever worn. I am said as my work now requires safety toe. I wish this pair came in safety toe.

Had these for several weeks now and the rolled edge cuts into my calf a bit, but I quit using the top eyelet and everything is good. Red Wings have always been stiff, but once broken in they are like a good pair of gloves.

Classic Boots

A beautifully made, rough and rugged boot that's attractive & comfortable enough for everyday use but hard enough to stand up to moderate abuse. The fit is different if you're coming from a work boot. I wear the Dynaforce 4215s in a 10.5H. I'm wearing the 1907s in a regular 10.5. The toe box is just a tad tighter than I prefer but it's not so tight that it's restrictive, ill-fitted or painful. The reason I don't have these in a wide size is the heel is quite large compared to the rest of the boot and my heel slips in the wide. Overall, it is a comfortable shoe and I haven't really broken it in yet.

Sizing

Greet boot. My volumental fit says im 8.7 2E. I bought 9 2E since it was not available at the store at that time. It was perfect size at first but after it stretch, it feels a little big now and my heel keeps dragging the back part since its looser now. Been wearing for less than a month. Just stick to your size, it will be snug at first but leather will stretch.

Great Boots

I purchased these about a month ago after my ariats fell apart. I wanted something that would last for a long time and be comfortable to wear. I bought this as a boot for everyday wear. I purchased these in the same size as all my other boots. They fit great. Broke in within a few days. With a medium thickness sock they are perfect. Very pleased with the quality, looks, and comfort of this boot. I would definitely recommend.

A Pair For Life

I bought these boots 8 years ago, and they’ve been with me everywhere — from long days working in the shop to riding my bike. I originally bought them in size 10.5, even though I usually wear US 11. Over time, as the leather broke in, they became a bit loose, so I added an insole and they’re still incredibly comfortable. Have several pairs of Redwing boots. The 1907 are one of my favorites the fit is very comfortable. Highly recommend.
