Great Kayak
I feel compelled to write this since there are so few reviews of this kayak online. I was worried about the low weight limit (275lbs), because I'm 245lbs. I took a chance and bought one anyway. It was on sale for $300, so a no brainer. I felt very safe, and stable in it. The seat was well above the waterline, no worries about it sinking or tipping. I'm 6'4" and there's plenty of leg room. I don't fish so I don't bring a lot of gear with me. I put a small cooler up front between my legs, and I wasn't cramped. There's lots of space in this kayak, very roomy. The seat was relatively comfortable, but I will probably get an extra pad to make it better. Seems like it tracks pretty well, easy to paddle, pretty fast when you get going, but I'm a novice so I don't have much to compare it to. Overall, this seems like its better for a taller person. it's 12' long, and you need long arms to reach any of the tie down areas. I was in it for about 2 hours and was perfectly comfortable. I'm glad I took the chance on it. I will buy another one if they go on sale again. Thx

First Kayak I Owned
Bought this kayak as i plan to use it for fishing
The good
-easy to maneuver.
-plenty of comfortable leg room
-feels steady in strong currents
- plenty of rails for extra equipment
Not so good(
-front of open compartment has some molded shelves. I assume is for fishing hook etc. but they are way too far to be of any use
-even with the adjustable straps the seat is not that comfortable. After 45 mn of paddling my back was very soar( you can feel top of kayak seat digging in the back
But the 60% off was a no brainer. I can fix the seat
I would not recommend this product at full asking price

Love My Kayak
I’m 6’4 257 lbs. I don’t fit in most compact kayaks and wanted something that was sturdy and multi-purpose. Got it. If you’re looking for a kayak that tracks well, rides well, sits well, plenty of open space, multi-purpose and durable. This is it. Load up a couple of fishing rods, strap your cooler to the back, drop your keys in a wet bag or ziplock and secure them with the front holder and hop in. A good time awaits.
