Quest Pack

I have been very happy with this pack. I caught a good sale on it and have been pleasantly surprised with the functionality and durability. I use it as my primary pack (now) to carry everything I need for a day out inline skating.

Leaky Reservoir / Tube With An Ok Pack

Can leak badly from the reservoir / tube interface!! Screw-in (flawed design) means the O-Ring seal is ineffective when the threads just slightly loosen. Design used by others (push-in, O-Ring below the surface, locking mechanism) is far superior. Pack has a nice set of compartments, nice shoulder straps, feels comfortable to carry (if the reservoir isn't leaking), well-placed chest strap. Exception to this is the waist belt is too small: just fits my 38" with just a T-shirt / no jacket. Any additional clothing or larger waist will not be enough to fasten the belt. I'll continue to use this for short hikes, but only with my CamelBak reservoir, and not so fully loaded that I need the waist strap. While the pack is OK, having a soaking wet pack before I realized it results in 1 star. As usual, we get the level of design & quality that we pay for. While better packs are pricey, they should be considered.
