Leaky Reservoir / Tube With An Ok Pack

Can leak badly from the reservoir / tube interface!! Screw-in (flawed design) means the O-Ring seal is ineffective when the threads just slightly loosen. Design used by others (push-in, O-Ring below the surface, locking mechanism) is far superior. Pack has a nice set of compartments, nice shoulder straps, feels comfortable to carry (if the reservoir isn't leaking), well-placed chest strap. Exception to this is the waist belt is too small: just fits my 38" with just a T-shirt / no jacket. Any additional clothing or larger waist will not be enough to fasten the belt. I'll continue to use this for short hikes, but only with my CamelBak reservoir, and not so fully loaded that I need the waist strap. While the pack is OK, having a soaking wet pack before I realized it results in 1 star. As usual, we get the level of design & quality that we pay for. While better packs are pricey, they should be considered.

Good Price, Good Function, Didn't Hold Up

Bought this for a hike. It worked well. Just started to frey and fall apart.

Doesn't Hold Up

Bought this for my son to use for Boy Scouts. He took it to camp and carries it with him to meetings, otherwise it sits in the closet. Unfortunately, the entire side of the middle pocket has come undone. The bag material has not held up. The fabric has come away from the stitching. Not sure it can even be repaired with the way the fabric is frayed.

Water Backpack

I bought the Quest 2L Hydration pack, me and daughter love it. I used on my bike rides, playing tennis and soccer. The water stay cools for very long time (add about half way of ice in the Hydration pack for about 8hrs and still ice at the end of the night)

Hydro Pack

Since I bought this, I have taken this Hydro pack on a variety of hikes over 5 miles as well as even some motocross trail rides. I have to say this pack is very light and comfortable stores small tool packs, first aid kit trail mix. Maps are keeping me hydrated as well would recommend it.
