Great Purchase Made Me Excited About Fishing Again

I was going on a float trip and needed a good rod for the kayak. I stopped and bought this and was not even a little disappointed! It was very easy to set up and when its time to fish I can pull it out quick. I ended up catching some small mouth and kentuckys on the river we were on and was extremely impressed how well this little rod handled them. I am able to finesse my baits like I do with a full sized rod and can make plenty long casts for the size of water I was on! I am very excited to take this thing out again this week! I am keeping it as a truck rod and will also be bringing it on my next kayak adventures. I kind of want to try the real tiny version of this as well!

Not Sturdy

Bought this today and my.son didnt even get to use it. The middle pole extension snapped and broke. Very little pressure applied and it snapped.

Tactical Fishing

I bought this to hide under the bench seat and fish when I get a chance

Awsome Rod!

It really holds up against decent size fish. I caught a smaller catfish that pit up a awesome fight and it held up great!

Buy This If You Want To Waste Money And Have Disappointed Kids

I got this as a gift about 2 months ago just as something nice I could just slip into a bag and just take anywhere if I wanted to go fishing I had it for a while never got the chance to use it so while I was stringing it up (like the normal angler does) I flex the tip a little bit to test the action and I hear some cracking and it just snaps like a twig. I wouldn't count on this thing to catch anything bigger than a crappie. Also has no sensitivity no castability and is just a headache to get through the tip if you lose the microscopic needles that come with it. Completely overpriced only thing I benefited from this was a mediocre spin cast reel. If you want a nice compact rod for you or your kids just stick with a zebco dock demon 1/2 the price and you don't even need to worry about your kids breaking it cause it's virtually invincible. Moral of the story; Stick with a dock demon

Decent Portable Fishing Rod

Bought the fishing rod for my son to store in our camper with a small table box just in case we forgot to pack larger ones. Used it this past week and it worked fine but the fishing line is subpar. Not a big deal, we are replacing it when we get back home with a more durable line. The issue is if the line breaks it's not the simplest rod to set up again cause u have to feed to line through the rod using a little metal weight. So, constantly breaking line is quite an issue considering the process of resetting it back up.

Excellent For Back Country Turkey Hunts

I bought this innovative rig a few weeks ago to replace a very old Telescoping rod and reel that I have used for years. The size and durability will accompany me on back country Spring Turkey hunts; where I often encounter Mountain Streams rolling with Native Brook Trout. I am looking forward to trying the tangle free technology out this coming Spring. Photos to come! Thanks Dick’s Sporting Goods!

Great Item

Very nice and convenient. I enjoyed it several times already.

So Frustrating Worst Rod I Ever Owned

Save your money and get a different rod my husband has never been more irritated fishing. The line constantly goes inside the reel and you have to attach a metal piece just to get it through the rods
