I really like the look of these shorts, though they seem to run small. There is no stretch to the fabric. Color is nice and washed well. I hung to dry worried they’d shrink.

Great fit! I have these in 3” and 5”. They can go anywhere and look good. I have them in two sizes as well. They stay nice all day without wrinkling.

I have quite a few of the Elle short in an array of colors. Since I am short the 3 inch length is perfect. I did notice that there aren’t any new colors of this short so maybe Prana is discontinuing them? That would be disappointing to me as I wait for new colors to add to my collection each year. The fabric of the Elle short is durable, yet thin enough for warm weather, washes well on cold, dries quickly, rolls or folds small being perfect for travel, and can be dressed up or down. I was waiting for this short to come out in black and navy/midnight blue, but grabbed another in mud (great color to go with any other and I wear to garden in) before this shirt does not exist anymore. Please continue making the Elle short (at least in 3 inch length for we shortener ladies) in new colors. Thank you!

These shorts are absolutely amazing, please don't ever stop making these! I have bought every single color through all the years and color changes. These fit me perfectly and have just enough stretch. I have hiked and worked out in these shorts. I have tried the Halle but those sit a little lower on me than the Elle. I like the 5" inseam. I would continue buying these in any color you create :)

Bought these at the end of the season so have only worn them once. But very comfortable, pockets actually hold things. Can’t wait for warmer temps, these will quickly become my go-to shorts.

I usually purchase shorts in 12 or 14. As expected there is more give around the waist and crotch area with the 14. With my 40" hips, size 14 is probably the best. However the elastisine/ cotton material allows the size 12 to adjust with time and washing. I like shorts that have a little give to the waist and don't ride up into the crotch. These work! I use them for work, at the elementary school and for casual wear. I like the color options and there is a 3 inch and 5 inch inseam option.

These shorts are extremely versatile. They are perfect for an active life style, or just because you want to dress cute. I am petite, so the length was perfect. I recommend purchasing your normal size, as they run true to size.

I love these shorts. They are a little snugger than the Halle shorts. The style is also cuter than the Halle - they aren’t as “hike-y” but can definitely be worn to hike or just around town.
