Pflueger President Baitcast Reel

The only thing I can say about this real is that I wish I would have bought one sooner. It is the awesome reel super smooth action. Great drag all around good quality. I own 8 of their real's and I have fished with plenty of other fishing reels throughout my life. Of fifty seven years and I truly enjoy using these reels

Nicer Than I Expected

I was given a nice rod and needed a reel. Had scorecard dollars, so got this reel just to put on new rod. But I am very impressed, it is really nice for the money. Never owned a Pflueger before. I see no reason not to in the future.

Get Your Moneys Worth

Have had (3) Pflueger baitcasters for over 16 years and always smooth and reliable. Purchased a new President XT about a year ago, so it was a no brainer when I was ready to add another new reel to my arsenal.

Excellent Reel!!!

This is a very smooth reel. I have only fished with it twice, but kept picking it back up because it casts so well. I paired it with a medium action/fast tip rod. I can cast a weightless fluke on 20lb braid and a flouro leader a country mile. I will definitely be buying more.

I’ve had this reel for about a month now. I am a Abu guy, Revo SX’s. This reel is nice and smooth. No complaints. Well worth the money.

Excellent Reel For The Price

I’ve used this reel twice now and it performs like the high end reels my friends use. Don’t hesitate and just go buy it you won’t regret it

Smooth, Long Casting, Well Built

Gearing was a little rough out of the box so I hit it with some Hot Sauce and it turned smooth as butter. I normally fish left hand baitcasters, but I bought this right handed reel to give my arm & hand a break during tournaments and glad I did. I use it for crankbaits, spinnerbaits and chatterbaits. Haven't really put it to a test with a big fish yet, so I can't vouch for how the drag holds up. But the reel is really smooth casting and I love the cork paddles on the handle. Wish they came in left handed version! Highly recommended, especially at the price.

Great Reel For The Price...

Bought this about a month ago and have used it a few times already. It is strung with 30lb braid and casts a mile. I bought this one because both Outdoor Life and Field & Stream rated very high and one of the best casters in the test. It has been great so far.

Smoothest Yet

I was kind of skeptical with this baitcaster since I've only used shimano and diawa but super smooth super easy to keep clean and nice price tag
