Nice But Old Stock..
Helmet seems nice but the manufacture date is 3 years ago. Helmets have a limited lifespan regardless of use.

Good Helmet At A Great Price
This was my first "good" climbing helmet and I cannot be more impressed. As someone with many concussions I always wear a helmet when climbing outdoors. This is so much better than any dump helmet. Thankfully have not taken a head impact with it. It has some small scratches and what not but nothing unusable throughout the first season with this. Got compliments for how light it was when climbing in the New River Gorge.

Put It On And Forget It's There
The helmet works great. Its extremely lightweight, comfortable. And vents well. I wear it the entire time I'm at the crag because there's simply no reason to take it off.
The buckle and straps could have been done better as they feel poorly done and are annoying to adjust. But once you get it on your head, they feel just fine.

Lightweight Ski Mountaineer Helmet
Lightweight helmet that is comfortable and adjusts well. Used for ski mountaineer and backcountry skiing. At this weight you can’t get all safety ratings, so double check what you are comfortable with before making your final helmet selection.

Its Comfy And Light
I've had this helmet for 2 seasons now. I like it a lot but it does have a couple of issues. My main issue is that the magnet can get iron in its mechanism that stops it from closing. I climb at the RRG a lot so i really appreciate how cool this helmet keeps your head. I've had a couple of smaller rocks impact it and it only has small dents.

Petzel Meteor Review
This helmet is super light and the size is very customizable. I was able to fit a beanie on underneath comfortably. Haven't taken any rocks to the head with it (thankfully) so can't comment on its durability.

Good So Far...
Good lid so far. Shows small dings fairly easily, though that doesn't bother me. My two biggest things so far are: 1) I haven't been able to find a great fit for my head. I originally purchased the small/m size from another retailer and it just barely would fit on the widest setting. This time I got the m/l and it rides sightly too big, even with careful adjustments, though I'm still playing with it here and there. 2) I honestly didn't count on this weight making such a difference overall. My prev lid was twice the weight and although my activity is very casual on the Colorado scale, it is worth the investment.

Great Lite Helmet
This is a great helmet especially for summer, the wind really travels thru this helmet and keeps you cool. Plus great quality as per Petzl equipment.

Petzl Meteor Climbing Helmet
I haven’t had this long, so I can’t speak to the long-term durability yet. Although, it seems more durable that my last Mammut MIPS helmet because there’s more plastic covering the foam. I loved the looks of the Mammut helmet, but for the price it was not durable enough (it broke shoving into my pack). This helmet is equally if not more attractive. I didn’t know if I’d like the chin strap magnet clip on the Petzl helmet, but I like it fine so far.

Lightweight And Comfortable
I bought this helmet specifically because it's certified for both rock climbing and cycling. So far it's been extremely comfortable and the inner helmet adjustment system means it's a great fit on my head. Only 4/5 stars because the chinstrap slips through too easily and becomes loose, requiring constant tightening. Also, I like the idea of a magnetic buckle closure, but it's become a bit of an issue when climbing in Kentucky, where there is a lot of iron in the sandstone dust.

Petzl Meteor
Nice helmet, a good combination of light weight and some durability with the hard shell. None of the Black Diamond helmets fit me very well, Petzl seems to be a good option for a "lower volume" head. Compared to the Petzl Sirocco, the fit is slightly different. The Sirocco seems to be a little bit roomier, for example I can fit into a S/M Sirocco but the S/M Meteor was tight by comparison

Comfortable And Light
Bought this for sport climbing, and I'm happy so far. I have a very small head, and the ratchet system in the back works well. I was skeptical because I'm accustomed to boa dials with cycling helmets, but this keeps the helmet secured very well--never loosened. The helmet is incredibly breathable and light. Perfect for warm and cool weather.

Does Its Job
Lightweight, durable (hard plastic shell will certainly stand up to small falling rocks and hitting your head on roofs etc). The white color is nice because it does not show scratches or scuffs very much. I really like how this one protects the sides of my head. Nice and adjustable, nothing really to complain about.
