Exactly What I Was Looking For!
I live in Michigan, so I have a lot of pig, puffy, long jackets, but I was looking for something a little lighter and thinner for those slightly warmer winter days. This jacket is exactly that. Very lightweight, but still manages to keep my warm. I can wear it out adventuring, walking around town, or going out to dinner. I originally tried a Medium (my normal size), but it was too tight to fit a hoody or anything underneath, so I sized up to a Large.

Such A Nice Jacket!
I got this for my daughter for her birthday and she absolutely loves it! She reports that it's very warm and fits great, especially since she's tall (6-2) it's difficult for her to find jackets that fit.

Overall A Great Coat That I Returned
If you’re looking for a good lightweight down coat this one definitely fits the bill. It’s not at pricey as other brands, but performs well. My issue was that I fell right in between sizes and I wasn’t a fan of the boxy cut. For most people this will be a great coat, it just wasn’t the one for me.

Awesome Down Jacket
This is the second patagonia down jacket I've owned. This newer version is still very warm, comfy,, and packs down small. Should last a long time!

Perfect For Transitional Weather
I had bought one of these for my son and he loves it so I finally got one too. It’s perfect. I still get really cold in the spring so this jacket fits the bill.

Great Workhorse Insulator For 3-season Backpacking
This hoody is well-tailored, warm, versatile, and durable. I wear a size medium (5'6'' ~140 lbs athletic build), which is long enough to cover my lower back when I squat, reach, etc. The black color is attractive and the cut is slim (doesn't look like a shiny trash bag like many other down jackets). It is warm enough for spring, summer and fall adventures in the backcountry of California, and I love that Patagonia sources their down responsibly. The collar buffets from the cold well, and the elastic cinches at the waist are very helpful for that as well. I use this layer as an after-hiking or early morning layer on backpacking trips, a belay jacket at the crag or on day-long routes if it's shady or shoulder season, car camping, under a denim jacket around town, whatever. The only thing I wouldn't use this layer for is high-intensity exercise in snow/cold weather (backcountry skiing, etc)--I'd want a lighter layer that's more breathable in the underarms, and also one that's waterproof. I try not to let this layer get exposed to more than a light drizzle. But it layers well under a rain shell.

Perfect Jacket
I've wanted a hooded waterproof jacket for a long, long time! They had this one at 20% off so I had to grab it. Fits perfectly — I'm 5'5" and bought a Medium. Great quality and really comfortable. I was worried about it being too thick and heavy and would get too hot, but it's breathable. Recommend!

Favorite Go-to!
Overall awesome! Ordered it on a Monday and it was at my house by Wednesday! Fits true to size and the hood is truly my favorite part - the neck zips up nice and high to keep you warm when needed. So far no complaints!

Great Jacket...warmer Than Expected!
Have had this jacket for a few weeks and although it is supposed to be spring, winter has refused to leave. I am surprised at its exceptional warmth given it is lightweight. It is extremely well made and I am loving the contrasting color trim on it. Worth the money!

Not Warm Enough For Scotland Winters
I purchased this coat based on excellent reviews, water resitance and the high down fill (800), plus I'm a dedicated Patagonia customer. This coat did not cut it in the Scotland winters and I ended up adding a 400 fill coat under it to try to keep warm. That still wasn't enough. The fit was perfect for my size 5'9.5 and 135 lbs.

Very Cozy
It's like putting on a soft comforter. The hood is roomy and jacket fits easily over middle and lighter layers. Very light weight but warm. Attractive, too!

I Think It's Gonna Be Great!
This is much cuter in real life! I thought I'd look like a Ninja but it's really cuter on. I ordered the lg even though I'm definitely a med so I can wear a long sleeve and a hoodie under it. It has a drawstring at the bottom so I can pull it in. Very light weight and packs great!
