Our Great Waves logo combines Patagonia's word mark with Hokusai's iconic wave and Great Pacific Iron Works, the name of our first retail store, which is a short walk from some great waves in Ventura, California. We screen-printed the artwork on the Men's Great Waves Uprisal Hoody, a soft, durable pullover hoody with rib-knit side panels, cuffs and hem. It's made with a blend of preconsumer and postconsumer recycled materials. By utilizing fabric scraps and recycled bottles, this hoody made with 100% recycled fabric reduces our reliance on virgin raw materials. Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory. Which means the people who made this product earned a premium for their labor.
