Dont Be Fooled By Its Good Looks

Good looking jacket more than anything else. Build is horrible. Even much cheaper jackets can hold the tension with the little band that tighten the jacket at the bottom. Also the little grommet broke off very easily. This jacket feels very fragile. I really dont know how it got so many awards. I literally only wore it once and noticed major flaw right away. Its really sad just how bad the quality is for things these days even when you pay an arm and leg. I am think i might just go with a waxed cotton jacket at this point. The quality and durability of synthetics is horrific. Its day and night obvious they did cost cutting on this jacket and yet charged crazy price for it.

Great Balance Of Light Weight And Waterproof.

Definitely warm with minimal under layers and the waterproofing is great!

Solid over layer for rain. So far only used in the front country so hard to say how it’ll hold up over time or in the brain of a backpack but pretty solid.

Replaced Same Model That Lasted 9 Years.

Still pricey for a heavier rain jacket that requires retreatment annually to not wet out. Internal seams finally separated but still a solid choice for a one quiver jacket. Still haven’t improved the annoying collar unless it it’s totally up or way down mostly unzipped.

Best Rain Jacket

This jacket i a must buy at the price on here. I have never been wet in this thing, even after standing in the rain all day long. Great jacket!
