Excellent For Those Light Weight Over Nights

Light weight, easily packable. completely waterproof

Not Worth It Imo

I got this specifically for use in the PNW. I tried using it as a standalone product with out using guy lines, and as you can imagine, it doesn't really stay up on its own at all. It basically served as a bug net for me on Olympus. Which was great, but bug nets are way cheaper. I would be very nervous in heavy rain or snow that this wouldn't stay up at all or would fill with moisture inside from breathing. Pros are that it is very light and definitely better than nothing if you need shelter. If you can secure guy lines to the pole, I'm sure it is a better experience in general.

Product is so easily packable & lightweight to carry for emergencies or lightweight outings! The biggest downfall in my opinion is that this design doesn't work well for ventilation, especially if it is being used in colder conditions where keeping heat in is crucial. Bivy does not come with any stakes or flys to keep it taught through the night. First time I used it the bivy sort of drooped on my face all night & was fortunate it was warm enough at 10.5k ft in elevation to keep my head exposed with a mummy bag. It seems there's an updated version that may be better designed for this, would much rather opt for that option

Spacey

I was skeptical at first but then I set it up in the park. Plenty of space
