I Love This Backpack

I love this backpack so much. I’ve backpacked over 40 countries and this has to be my favourite backpack for it. It’s incredibly comfortable and adjustable. I can carry plenty and not feel the weight of it. I can fit a surprising amount in it. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Great For Older Lady

Bought it as I am a older lady with a petite frame. Fits very well using the padded waist straps and is of great quality as I expect from Osprey. However, the zipped pockets in the waist belt are not quite big enough to take my phone. Otherwise, all perfect.

I Love Osprey Packs! The

I love Osprey packs! The features I particularly enjoy for this being a smaller pack is that there are still great hip pockets that zip, and the usual airflow as far as the support structure in the back. This pack has all of the features that I look for in a larger pack and I was quite pleased to find them in the 22 liter. I also love the color! The hip belt on these packs is so comfortable and it creates an overall fit that is seamless. You don’t even think about having a pack on your back when you’re wearing an Osprey.

Ideal For Day Trips

I bought this for my sister’s birthday and she is delighted with it. It’s the perfect size for birding trips and treks. Easily holds binoculars, water bottle, rain wast etc.

Great Buy

I was looking for a new rucksack for a while and the Tempest 22 was on my radar from the beginning. I then decided to go for it and my first trip with it was hiking Snowdon. The rucksack has everything I need. The small pocket in the waist area are just perfect for the few small things you want to have close to you. The main pocket is big enough for spare clothing, food and snacks. The two small pockets inside and outside the rucksack are just perfect for smaller items that would otherwise get lost in the big pocket. Only one thing I was little disappointed is that it doesn’t come with rain cover (this is however in the description which I completely missed)

Wouldn't Know It Was There'

The most comfortable bag ever, super light and I completely forget it's on my back after hours of hiking and +000m. Had a nick in the hip strap and was replaced within 7 days by osprey. Unbelievably amazing service! Don't worry about not having a rain cover included, just buy one, it's amazing value.

Honestly, Sadly, This Pack Doesn’t

Honestly, sadly, this pack doesn’t work for me. The Tempest 20 fit my body perfectly, and I long for another just like it. Unfortunately, it’s discontinued with the 22 supposedly its new version. So, now I am stuck without a pack and actually borrowed my daughter’s Tempest 20 for my adventure leaving the 22 home in its packaging to be returned. Suggestions for a Tempest 20 replacement?

Great Daypack

I bought this as one of my friends had one and it looked so comfortable. Very sturdy with multiple pockets and water bottle carriers at the side. Hip belt also has a pocket for keys. Adjustable back. Tried it out at a day festival and found it very comfortable . This will be great and I will get a lot of use out of it for hikes also.

Tempest 22

Great bag, very comfortable for longer hikes on my 5ft4 frame!

Comfortable And Roomy

Used this for the first time last week as a ‘small under the seat infront’ bag in a flight and it’s brilliant! Got so much in it as it has so many pockets and it’s adjustable so was really comfortable to wear. I’m not sure it would pass the size restrictions for some of the budget airlines though, it’s an inch or two too tall. But it’s brilliant for hikes and other overnight stays - I’m going to look at the next size down and just build up a collection! It’s so well made

One Size Does Not Fit All

I had an Osprey Tempest 20 in xs/s. It fit perfectly but has served me well and needs to be replaced. I went to buy another one and they are no longer made. Replaced by Tempest 22, one size only. It is so tall that it hits the back of my head and therefore I can't tilt my head to look up. Ridiculous. So disappointed in Osprey.

I Didn't Think 22l Bags

I didn't think 22L bags needed much of a hip belt but this hip belt is legit and they have zipper pockets easy to access on the trail. I am going to find it difficult to wear any daypack or small weekend pack without such a nice hip belt. The adjustable length is perfect for getting the right fit! Now my partner wants one too. Added hydration bag and used it for a festival in Iceand and also in the westfjords for day long hikes in a variety of weather carrying partners gear too. I'm a fan of everything black so I can't complain about the color because as it will inevitably get dirty, I won't notice.
