Not As Good As Older Versions Of The Backpack

The side pockets have holes in them so you can really only fit a waterbottle. Also there is no front pocket like the older versions have so you have to open the big pocket to keep a phone or wallet.

Great Pack For Day Trips

Great little pack for day trips. Perfect size for snacks, plenty of water, an extra layer, and odds and ends. I like the little pocket in the top flap for storing small things. Material seems nice and sturdy. Fits well and is very adjustable for when I need to shed or add layers.

Great Backpack

The backpack itself is awesome. Really lightweight and easy to carry, even when full. I'd only used run-of-the-mill backpacks before (not designed for hiking/outdoors), and there's just a huge difference in the comfort level. It's a great size for a day hike, carries plenty of water and plenty of room to store a jacket, camera, snacks, and more. Unfortunately the bladder had a tear in it, but the HydraPak warranty is great and they replaced it immediately. Would be better if it had an outer zip pocket for easier access but still secure storage (the only zip pocket is located inside the bag) but alas.
