It's nice, the pockets will fit any paddle you buy. I decided to get fishing paddles with push off support and fish line catcher. It also will fit your pole holder, and vest. With other accessories. I recommended when the seat pads are wet to leave them out. Because the pads will also fit inside the bag even if not put away in the kayak itself. Impressive. Asking with counter balance straps that slow you to adjust the weight differences. If you are on a longer the a quarter mile journey. Make sure to let the kayak sit in sun. Because the weight is greater after being in the water. I bought the beach fishing sport model. I'm the coolest guy on the piers. And don't even notice the difference carrying to the piers. When sun comes out I take to sand and launch. I believe the backpack is very strong. But use 2 hands work 2 different locations. Especially after kayaking. I haven't ripped it. Nor would I hesitate to grab it how I want. A- for quality. I believe a A+ would be larger mounts for fabric grab points. But very 👍 nice.

I Love it ! What I do is put my Oru Inlet kayak and paddles in the back pack and throw it the back of my SUV. I load my Ebike onto the hitch mount bike rack. Drive my car to the take out point. Lock up my bike in a safe place near the take out. Drive my car up to the launch point. Set up the kayak, throw the back pack in behind the seat of the kayak and launch. Paddle to the take out. Fold up Oru, put in the pack. Kayak is now on my back, I unlock my Ebike. Ride the bike on trails to my vehicle with the kayak and paddles in the pack on my back. Load up vehicle with kayak/back pack and bike. Go home !

Got the pack and placed the beach sport in it with the paddles. Everything fit and it balances on the back pretty well. The load lifters on the pack was nice to see and helped the balance quite a bit. The material seems ok but we'll see how it holds up with time.

Purposely capsized to practice self rescue and this kayak kept sinking.

I can only speak to the assembly and disassembly. I have yet to be get the boat assembled by myself so I have not been able to get on the water with it. If I can not get it sorted out as to how to do it by myself, I will most likely be returning it.

Recently traded up to Oru Bay ST's and enjoying a much lighter experience. For our half-day scenic tours the Bay ST is easier to handle and plenty capable. . . :)

It does not match the picture of putting kayak in bag. I am not happy. i am calling for a supervisor on Monday.

It is perfectly and amazingly designed for what it is. It does all it should do AND folds up for easy storage and handling. I have a 14 foot rigid kayak. It is a pain to load and transport. But, it tracks well. The Oru does not. It also has a bulkhead console. Oru would benefit by designing a skirt or bulk head console for thier boats.

It really is as good as the advertised! We really love the inlet!

I received the pack & paddle free with my kayak purchase. This makes heading to the water so easy. . . everything in one place. It took a minute to get it around the yak, but now it's a piece of cake. I love that it holds my paddle pieces. I can also attach my Oru PFD to it. That's a bonus. Love the trademark Oru colors. The pack feels sturdy & well-made. I use it underneath in gravel, sand, or on a slippery dock to disassemble it, so it doesn't slide around or get scratched. I highly recommend this pack.

It took almost two hours to set it up the first time! And about twenty minutes the second time… It’s a fun, easy and almost miraculous experience. When people are around and watching they are surprised and impressed. My first time getting in the boat was easier than I expected and so was paddling and maneuvering. I feel at home in it and so happy I decided to purchase one. My only wish is that I had more space to carry gear for camping.

First time assembling the kayak took me 20 minutes but after that it only takes 10 minutes, very stable and responsive on the water.

It's difficult to get over the folded kayak and it doesn't really hold any extra gear (i.e. PFD, pump, water bottle). I'm actually hoping I can return it. I bought a duffel bag instead.

Hi! I’m practicing putting it together. . . In my apartment . The assembly will take some a extended practice, so I’m not rushing it. I know I’m going to like this kayak! Can’t wait to once again, be on the water. So, next early Spring is my goal.

The kayak pack legitimately makes this kayak packable. Comfortable and light enough to get the job done.
