A Positive Surprise!

These shoes are gently advertised as a 4-hour marathon racer, and honestly not many shoe manufacturers cater to that level of a runner today. I'm really glad this shoe exists. The foams are top-notch: layer of PEBA and another of TPEE with a non-carbon plate in between. These foams will not get stiff in the cold - which for me is great as I also run in winter. The running experience in these shoes is very smooth and efficient. They just want to go cruising and almost disappear into the background. They are also very stable and have an accommodating width. I find their sweet-spot pace to be between 8:30 and 9:30 min/mile, but they can easily be pushed to 8:00 min/mile. Unlike reviewers online, who are very athletic (and likely sub-3 marathoners), I did not find this shoe to have stiff cushioning. I'm a 5 foot 11, 180 lbs runner, and the cushioning and support is just right for me, with a nice and controlled give. It provides pleasant impact absorption, a dash of responsiveness, and a nice toe roll-off. I really enjoy running in these shoes! They remind me of Brooks Ghost Max 2, but smoother, faster, more pleasant and efficient, with a dash of Brooks Hyperion Max 2 added-in.

Nice From Far But Far From Nice.

The upper is paper thin and feels cheap, especially at the price point. They looked creased out of the box. Cannot remember being more disappointed in a shoe.

Have never enjoyed running as much as I have in these shoes. Almost feels like they are moving my legs for me. Love them.

Great For Stability And Long Distance

I didn't need a show that had a lot of padding, and good for sprints, so I looked into On shoes. I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them and put it on. I like how they keep my ankles and feet stable when running, but have a good amount of pop to it. It's not as poppy or floaty-like as the Adidas shoes but they're great. I even got them on a discount at Going Going gone! They're wider in the toe and the rubber supports far outside the bottom of the shoe, which is what I was looking for.
