I use these in 17' sea kayaks that I have owned from 1987 for open water ocn touring and the NRS float bags seem to be a made of a very tough material, the inflation valves are great, good line attachment points and they even come with a lifetime warranty.

Haven't Tried Yet, But Looks Floaty!

These were a pain to measure for but hopefully I got the right ones. They're a Christmas present so might be used on one of those January paddles where you really don't want to be pumping out your boat for half an hour while you soak in your wetsuit. Expensive, I think, but little choice in that.

Fits My Pungo 120 Great

Easy to inflate quickly, good quality. Nowhere to mount inside my Wilderness Systems Pungo 120, though. But it does fit very snug inside, will have to be careful in event of rollover. Inserted uninflated, then inflated by mouth, which makes it brace itself inside.

Tough, Reliable Back-up Flotation For My Sea Kayak

These NRS bags are as tough and easy to use as NRS says they are. The first brand I tried just didn't measure up -- their float bags seemed fragile -- and, where I paddle (often solo), I don't want to worry about my back-up flotation failing when I need it.
