Great Knife, Little Large For Nrs Chinook
Great sized companion knife for fishing and kayaking. Unfortunately the knife is a little long for the 2nd gen NRS Chinook PFD when mounted upright, as it interferes with the opening of the vest pocket. The mounting sheath is very sturdy and after a year of ownership I have had no issues, although the knife may tend to bite into the sheath if you are not careful inserting it. Also the sheath mounts very securely to an NRS vest, so I recommend you make sure you have it in the orientation you like, as I have not been able to remove the sheath to remount it.

Knife Good But Holder Junk
Be warned, the holder works well until the internal spring rusts, then it fails to hold the knife. I rinsed mine in fresh water after every ~20 uses but it still rusted and then failed. Now I need to make a sheath for it.

Staple Pfd Item.
Attaches to PFD very well (kind of long, so make sure you measure!). Feels secure. Nice heft. Rubber doesn't last forever. Handy bottle opener. Good water knife.

Great River Knife!
This knife fits great on my PFD (NRS Big Water). It has a very clever locking mechanism to hold the knife in the sheath (Rock Solid). A little bigger than I expected, but that is not a factor. Overall, freakin' great knife.
