Kickstand For A New Nishiki Bike, Same Brand Still Complicated

I bought this for my son's new Niskiki bike. I guess bikes do not come with kickstands anymore. There were ZERO directions and you googled how to/what it looks like on it was very confusing. Now that it is on it works great.

Nishiki Adjustable Kickstand

We bought one from the Downingtown, PA store for my son's bike, and a week later it stopped working (it would not stay up when riding the bike). Went back to the store, and the technician at the bike shop said, "It is broken; you must have broken it." I had to buy a new kickstand; this time I bought a different type of kickstand. I had to pay for the new one. Did not get a replacement for the bad product.

A Necessity

Added this to my daughters Colorado 24 inch bike. It’s a little big, I remember kick stands being a little less noticeable but it serves its purpose.

Kickstand Does The Job

I bought this kickstand about one month ago for my daughter's Nishiki bike. The size worked well with the adjustable feature. The clamping part to the bike frame was a little tricky as there wasn't a great way to mount it without it sticking down a little too much when kicked up. Solid product for the money and have bought similar kickstand for my other bikes with no real issues.

It’s a nice design that it’s adjustable as it can grow with different size bikes so you don’t have to purchase one every time you buy a bike. Only downfall, I wish it was more compact as it kind of stands out as being bulky.

Adjustable For Different Types Of Frames

Used this for my grandsons 24" bike and it works well. I would suggest that you periodically check the bolts that mount it to the fram as one of them came off and some of the rubber pad was lost.

It didn’t fit my bike the way I wanted to. I was gonna have to mount it to where it sticks out far. Not for me.
