Exceptional Team

I bought this bicycle for my grand daughter and did I come to the right place. The selection was great and the team members whom I had dealings with were all very nice and very professional. I left with the gift and felt I was treated very well and it certainly opened the door for more visits in the near future. They are almost complete with their new store at the Westmorland mall and from what can be seen so far it looks like it will be amazing.

Dani’s Bike

The Dick’s team was great in putting this bike together very fast and very courteous and respectful of us whining it done. The bike is an excellent bike for my granddaughter.

Quality Questionable

I bought this bike and picked it up from the store less than two weeks ago. My son rode it down the street and back one time without incident, and the rear tire is now completely flat. When I took it back to the store I had to buy a new inner tube and pay for the labor for the replacement. It didn’t break the bank, but I’m disappointed to have this problem after one ride.

So Far So Good

Our son picked out the bike at the store and tested it. I ordered it online and then the store put it together so it was ready to go when we picked it up. Our son hasn’t been able to ride it much yet but so far he really likes it. It’s a good step up from the 18 and closer to a mountain bike when he gets a little bigger.

While I am totally blanking on his name we got amazing support from the gentleman working the bike department. Answered all our questions and went out of his way to help with the building process.

Missing Instructions And Parts

Overall the bike seems fine - a little heavy for my 7 year old, but otherwise seems sturdy. However: although we have at least four Dick's locations within a 20 mile radius, none of them were able to assemble the bike. I would have to drive over 60 miles to get it assembled. So we opted to deliver it to our home. The bike arrives without instructions and the link they provide for instructions is broken. So we did our best with what we could find on the internet ourselves. The bike also arrived without all the parts. The seat adjustment bolt/clamp were not included. Luckily we were able to use the parts from my daughter's old bike. Dick's: if all of your stores do not have the ability to assemble bikes, at least ship them with all the parts and instructions.
