Only Problems

I bought my Escalante 14 months ago and it is worth the money. I needed some spokes and 2 fenders as they broke easily. How can I get these parts?

Love This Bike

Wife and I both bought one to years ago. Both have 1000 miles on them. Brakes are horrible. Upgraded brakes on Amazon were 25$, stops like a dream. We’ve had no other problems.

Like It A Lot So Far.

I bought my bike not long ago and have thoroughly enjoyed it AFTER I swapped out the seat for a more comfortable one. With it I can go on my longer bike rides than I normally do. I use the pedal assist on my return trip, I rarely go above 1 but for some steep inclines I will put it at two. For pedal assist to work you have to already be going at normal speed so don't stop a bottom of big hill and expect it to take you to top. If you pedal up to it then you have no issues.

Great Bike

purchased this a month ago in store - for my husband (Father's Day gift). Great cruiser bike, sturdy and he is enjoying it very much!

Overall It Was A Good Experience

Overall it was a good experience. The bike handles nice.

The Price Is Good But The Braking System Doesn’t Work.

Purchased this bike in March-2023 and the brakes have never worked correctly. Purchased the $80 Asurion protection plan and found that trying to get service under the plans protection to be difficult and had a claim to fix brakes denied. Is ghost skipping the protection plan cost and go to a bike shop for service.

Great Bike With Major Caution!!!

We bought two and road them 400 mile last summer. just want to write a warning. We went out in December and both bikes slid on greasy decaying leaves..(which we saw...slowed down to manage them)...The tires are smooth and we went down without warning. My wife broke both arms on pavement. I was lucky and fell in dirt. We need to replace the tires with something having more treads....

Decent For The Price

Got this on clearance for $600 and seems like a decent buy. Worried about how it will hold up over the years as it doesn’t seem too sturdy. Fenders are already rubbing on the tires

Nice Ride!

Only owned for a short time. Looking forward to warm weather

Don't Let The Discount Fool You

After using the bike for half a year I can safely say this bike is a no-go. Aside from the cheap parts and underpowered motor, the bike itself just isn't comfortable to ride. Things like the fenders will flex easily and scrape against the wheel. The motor is capable of going 20mph yet caps itself out at 16. Recently things have just started breaking. First the derailleur literally just falls off, now spokes are just breaking and falling off. Since Nishiki doesn't actually exist as a brand (they probably just used the name for credibility) getting replacements is impossible. The rear wheel uses 12 gauge 220mm spokes, you can't find those anywhere without over a month of shipping time. Go for a reputable brand, not one that hasn't existed since 2001.

Not Worth The Cost

Bike fender doesn't stay attached. Pedal leg fell off. I believe it has a bad accelerating start requires too much effort to rotate pedals after a complete stop. Gears only serve going down hill. Not an incline bike. Pedaling is faster than the electric assist. Bike is heavy to pick up and transport by hand.

Peddle Activated, Great Assist- But Not A Motorcycle!

We bought the men’s and women’s version of this bicycle. We like the fact that it is pedal assist and not a throttle turn to activate the E bike feature. We wanted to get something that would help us on difficult hills but not take the feature of peddling and exercise away from the enjoyment of a bike ride. We did change our tires out which required us to remove the fenders and add a 2.10 wide mountain bike tire for off road use. The touring tire that was included from the factory on these bikes are essentially useless for anything other than a paved bike trail. We will be using ours for camping and general bike use. We love the look without the fenders and we absolutely love the bigger bulkier tire.

Love It

Im loving this bike its so worth the money. still have some fine tune to get it to fit me but the seat post has the easy adjusting so you can do it on the fly. it would be even better if there was a place for a water bottle. looks like i will have to get the back basket holder to strip a bottle to. but that's small, I get carried away riding and forget how far i am away from home. but the lucky i can just put it in turbo mode and get me home. Its the best.

Amazing Bike!

Fast, Suitable for my height and not to mention great for the price!
