Toe Box Is Too Narrow

I did a 14 mile run right out of the box. I’ve gone through several pairs of the 1080 road shoes, which are a good shoe, but since most of my running is unpaved/gravel, I run some in trail shoes. The toe box in these is too narrow. Overall the size is right so I don’t think sizing up would help. And I have narrow feet. Also the shoe has good cushion but it’s a heavier shoe.

I Wanted To Like Them

I am usually an 880 person but needed hiking shoes. I have difficult feet and needed shoes for my orthotic. These “fit” my foot but they hurt my feet after the second hike. I don’t like the sock like tongue/liner. Please stop making your shoes this way!

I bought these to wear for trail hiking at Yosemite. I read the reviews indicating that these are not as cushioned as some of the other NB options and that’s true. What is lost perhaps in cushioning is gained in additional support especially for those twists and turns going up the mountain trails. I will definitely purchase these again!
