Not For Me
Having worn the Fresh Foam 880 v12, v14, and v15, I really wanted to like this shoe, but it wasn't for me. It felt heavy and boxy on my foot, and the toe box was too wide. There was a lot of cushioning (I felt much taller!), but they made my feet look huge. Sadly, I decided to return them to our local New Balance store, which was super easy.

My New Ride
After wearing Hoka’s for years, I switched to NB88O’s after having foot problems. The NB880’s are a great fit for my wide feet. Great find and never going back! :)

These Hurt My Knees
I'm not a fan of this new version. I have flat feet and was recommended the 880 model by my podiatrist years ago. That said, I've worn 880s for over a decade and while most time they've been very comfortable, I find that the v15 causes my right knee to hurt excruciatingly to the point where I'm in agony after an hour of wear. I had a look at the specs and see that NB has reduced the heel to toe drop of this shoe from 8mm for the v14 to now 6mm which is not good news for flat feet. This slight change has caused a detrimental effect on my feet and now I'm looking at other alternative brands because I don't trust this one anymore. Honestly NB needs to stop fiddling with this model and go back to the old specs.
