The Heal Slip Is Really Bad!

The heal slip on these shoes are really bad, poorly designed as it doesn't wrap around your heel properly. I initially thought the shoes were too big but even with trying a smaller size I had the same issue. I'd avoid purchasing these especially if using them for running as it will drive you insane, even walking in them it feels like your heel is going to come out of them. You can see in the photo the heel lip is sticking out and therefore not focusing on keeping your foot secured.

Wanted To Love These Shoes But....

Recommended by my podiatrist I purchased a pair at the same size of shoe that I purchased from three other companies. Result? Clown shoes. Needed to go down at least half a size maybe a full size. A warning for those who purchase online. At first I passed it off as spacious in the toe box but the snug fit at the back didn't translate to comfortable underfoot. When i started getting pain in the instep I knew something wasn't right. Shoes are wearable with two pair of socks but of course with 90 km on them they aren't returnable. C'est la vie.

Unfortunately Had Insane Heal Slip :( Had To Return.

These are an awesome show and I was looking forward to wearing them, however I had bad heal slip and I could not rectify this even with re-lacing using top loops. The slightest amount of heal padding would make this shoe perfect, at the moment I cannot wear them, i hope the heal gets attention in future design.

Early Days⊦but Positive..

Use these shoes for power walking 5 days a week over about 8 kms per day through bush, over beach and sides of road. The top of the shoe over the toes is basically aerated as the material is a very fine mesh material. It does allow sand into the shoe however the advantage of cooler toes is appreciated. They are showing signs of wear on the lower treads after a month of wear or around 160kms of walking. They are a comfortable shoe.

Very comfortable and well-fitting shoes, but the minimal heel cup allows heel slippage when running no matter how I lace them. They feel light and fast, but the ride is not as plush as the height of fresh foam would suggest. Looks like the heel cup on the v12 is an improved design.
