Great Pad - Flawed Valve Connect Design - Ripped

I love this pad - it is warm, it has these fancy, grippy parts that keep it from slipping on the tent floor, it's thick enough to be very comfortable for me (5'2" @ 135lbs), and it only took about 15 breaths to inflate fully. Lightweight (maybe just shy of 2lbs) but a little bulky (little bigger than a football I think). I am disappointed that after less than one season I have ripped the pad open where the valve connects to the mattress. The repair kit is definitely not sufficient for this. I'll be trialing some duct tape here because I do like this pad so much.

Worth Its Weight In Gold!

This NEMO pad is very comfortable and quiet to sleep on, plus it does a good job of staying put during the night and not sliding around or out from under you. Easy to inflate and deflate and no leakage. It is a bit on the heavier side (just shy of 2 lbs) for backpacking but I happily trade that for the ease and comfort of a good night's sleep.

Great Pad!

Took this pad on the Colorado Trail and it did great!. Stayed warm all night. The pad also doesn't crunch when you move around on it which is a plus. Not the most light weight but, it definitely is comfortable.

Super Comfy!

I have only used this pad once so far, but I really put it to the test. The ground was incredibly rocky and uneven, the type of terrain that wouldn't even be comfortable for a brief sit. This pad performed phenomenally. I could still feel one particularly intrusive rock underneath me but it was reduced to more of a smooth lump and was not a big bother.

2 Weeks On The Ground In Comfort

Used this pad on a 14 day raft trip through the Grand Canyon. I didn't feel like waiting for it to self-inflate, but is was easy to blow up. It is light and packs into a relatively small stuff sac.

Love This Pad!

I’ve spent many cold nights sleeping on this, kept me perfectly comfortable and insulated. It will need to be fully inflated if you’re a side sleeper, but I never found it uncomfortable.

This Thing Is Great!

Bought a couple months ago, but just got to use it for Moto camping, on the beach in Santa Barbara County. Wow, is it comfy. Easy to pack and fits my large'ish frame really well. Love it.

Works Amazingly

Works great in the hammock or tent. Provides great insulation for warmth on cold nights and cushion when laying against rough ground providing a comfortable sleeping space. Though sometimes the plug is hard to get back in.

Impressive!

Now THIS pad is crazy. When I opened the package, I was wondering how this was going to support me over night. Well, because of the way it's designed and engineered, the balance between the air cushion and foam walls support a body very nicely. There is no significant air shifting around due to different pressure points. The whole thing stays surprisingly stable from head to toe. It also has a self inflating feature. One note about this....it takes a while, so if you do pick this up, lay it out at least 45 minutes before really try laying on it. I set it up when getting the tent ready and leave it while other things are being done. It does require 4 or 5 puffs of air into it to fully expand it to full capacity in the end, but that is a SMALL detail and no big deal. I'd purchase again!

Great Pad

Venturing into backpacking and bikepacking so size and weight are important, and this sleeping pad fits great into my packs. When inflated it was plenty big (I'm 6'2, 200lbs). Used it in wet conditions and it cleans up well.

Next Level Comfort

I camp several nights per week between field work at my job and weekend trips, so having a comfortable sleep setup is very important to me. I have experimented with various combinations of inflatable and closed cell foam pads and none of them have come close to how comfortable this sleeping pad is. Unlike other setups I have tried, I do not get the trampoline effect when moving around and I find that I rarely slide off or need to reorient my pad in the middle of the night. The pad is also super warm and setup and inflation is very easily. In my book this sleeping pad receives the highest marks in terms of comfort (and value). So far the only downside I have encountered is packability, it takes a considerable amount of time and effort to get this pad packed down into its stuff sack. Getting that last bit of air out while rolling the pad up seems to be nearly impossible because of how lofty the foam inside is.

Does The Job

Compact, light, and comfortable! Wide was just enough room for the dog to slide next to me too

Simple And Comfy

I bought this a few weeks ago and haven't been able to use it camping yet but I have tried it in my backyard and it is so easy to inflate and it is very comfortable to lay on. Fairly easy to re pack as well. It is slightly bigger packed up than I had envisioned but nothing really to complain about unless you are a ultralighter.

Great New Pad!

This is a great new product for the back and high country or just camping. The "Self" inflatables have always been a preference from some of my buddies but I love my Nemo pads! Now the new self-inflator alpine offers the best of all the options. The wavy texture is also very comfortable, and the slight taper at the bottom helps save a little space in the tent!

Good Comfort, Light Weight

This pad exceeded expectations for durabilty and comfort. A good addition to the already stacked line up of reliable backpacking pads.
