Mostly All Positives With One Exception.

Bought this pack in August, 2023 to use for day hiking. Pack material, sizing options, and ability to dial in fit all well designed/well engineered/well constructed. Very comfortable to wear, nice features i.e., easy access to pack contents, plenty of external tie on options. Dual sternum straps and front shoulder strap water bottle holders are both valuable assets. The only unusual feature is the size of the hydration reservoir holder. Can barely fit a full, relatively narrow 3 L Gregory Hydro Hydration bag into the slot. Cannot seem to fit a filled Mazama 3 L reservoir. Maybe there is something I am missing because Mystery Ranch products are dependably top tier with exceptional attention to details. Thought maybe the pack I received was a production error but in looking at the internal design image on MR's website it appears the size of the reservoir slot is the same as the one on my pack. At any rate, not the end of the world. Besides this hydration reservoir pocket size constraint the pack is otherwise an excellent, quality product.
