Really Nice Pack
Distributes weight across torso and back surprisingly well. Feels as though you are "one" with the pack. Layout and design is perfect. Durable materials and quality workmanship all around. The padding in the yoke straps leaves a lot to be desired and an extension of the foam padding by two inches would seemingly make all the difference for me. That's why it gets 4 out of 5 from me.

My First And Hopefully Last Pack
This pack was everything I expected it to be. I saved up for the Bridger after having researched it last season. This pack fits me well and comfortably. The material on the back, shoulder straps and waist straps is very breathable and padded. Way more comfortable than any pack ive had. The pack is durable and the stitching is excellent. Its sits perfectly and is sturdy on rough terrain. I plan to take care of and own this pack for my life.
One thing to improve would be having a rain cover.

Great New Design From Mr.
Used the new bridger a few times, great new design features; runner style harness with dual straps is a big advance in backpack suspensions, keeps the pack very stable. Pack carriers great, easily adjustable. Great interior organization and full, fast acces to the main bag body is great. The pack is slightly heavier than it's 65L competitors from Gregory and Osprey but the materials, zippers/straps
are significantly tougher than anything from Gregory or Osprey. If you want or need a full feature 65L pack that will take a beating and last forever this is the pack.

Great Pack
For anyone who likes quick access, plenty of compartmentalization, but still lightweight and sturdy— this pack is a game changer. Very comfortable, would buy again.

Comfortable
I filled it with blankets and weights and went on several two mile hikes with it. It carries 50 pounds very comfortably. The build quality is great. The way the main compartment zips fully open is a useful feature for packing.

Great Pack
Bought this pack right before a grueling 32 hike on the Tecumseh Trail. The pack was awesome, all the straps and the pack can filet all the way open for easy access.

Dana Gleason Still Crushing It
I worked for a specialty mountain outfitter in Colorado back in the 90's. In those days there were a few "just okay" pack manufactures to choose from (Kelty, TNF etc.) and one pretty good up and comer named after a bird that had just moved operations to Delores CO. But anyone in the know would tell you that if you really wanted a bomber pack for extended time in the back country you wanted a Dana Designs pack. Cut forward 30 years. Though D.D. went the way of the dodo bird Dana himself has been quietly living up to his own reputation by building up Mystery Ranch.
I normally keep my packs below 50L but I have some winter camping trips on the agenda and needed a little more space for some of the bulk that comes with warmer clothes and warmer sleeping bag. Knowing Dana Gleason's reputation (and the well deserved reputation of the original Bridger) I took a chance and man am I glad I did. This pack is so well designed and comfy. It's a great load hauler but has some SUPER SMART features that set it apart. The straight zip sleeping bag compartment is pure genius and makes it way easier to stuff my Marmot Col. The runners vest style chest harness and larger than average hip belt pockets are another stroke of inspiration. The added pockets put everything in reach without having to do the contortionist routine of trying to reach the side pockets on the pack body and the sternum straps are such that it makes it feel like the pack is really hugging and moving with you. Plenty of lashing points on the exterior make it easy to get things like tent poles, snow shovel, and alpine axe out of the main pack body and securely lashed. But the killer feature on this beauty is the way the entire pack front can be flayed open allowing me to reach things at the bottom without having to unpack everything from above (as a standard top loader would do). I love everything about this pack and can highly recommend it.

Most Comfortable Backpack Ever
I have used the most popular Gregory and Osprey. Out of all the packs I’ve this is easily most comfortable by far. It also feels the most durable out of all the packs. this lack makes the weight disappear. You may find yourself take the pack off in confusion wondering why the pack feels so light on your back. I thought to myself do I have everything in here that I usually do? Anyways you get the point. This lack is magical if comfort is a priority.

Most Comfortable Bag I’ve Ever Had
It’s heavier year but it also carries heavier loads easily.
Tooling out on a 3 day 2 night, not complaints not hotspots. Even when loaded to 42lbs

I've relied on a Dana Design pack since the '90s, and I needed something a little larger for a photography workshop in Colorado and a Rae Lake Loop backpacking trip. This is a "heavy" pack...but not at all heavy once you consider quality, features, and load bearing. This pack is comfortable, makes heavy loads feel light, and provides incredible access to packed gear when you need it. Sadly, I think I can happily retire my trusted Dana pack.

Mostly Good
Took this pack on a 10 mile out and back, and wasn't impressed.. Quality is superb, all the details are there, but it makes even light objects feel extremely heavy! Not impressed with the double harness either, all it does is make it harder to breath.. There is a reason no other companies are doing this..
I will save this pack for short hikes, because it is very comfy, but I won't take it out past 3 miles anymore. I'll save my Osprey for that.

The Cadillac Of Backpacks For A Reason...
I bought this in Large size after trying on a too-small Medium at a local shop. This is an exceptionally comfortable pack. After fitting it and loading it up with 35lbs all I can tell you is that putting it on feels like being hugged by a teddy bear. The yoke just distributes weight so well that the pack feels like a part of you. There are many well-thought out features and little finishes throughout the design. Loads of pockets, areas to stash items, easy access from front, top, and bottom. I can honestly say I loved this pack and loved the way it carried a load. I ended up returning it for only one reason: weight. I was looking to lower my overall carry weight and had to choose a different (and not as comfortable) pack because it was 3lbs lighter. If I had better ankles there is no question I'd own this pack forever. It is rugged, well built, and made to last.
