Not Looking Forward To Snow.

I received these and put them on. Walking through my home I nearly slipped and fell. The soles are make of hard rubber. I own an older pair that have the softer rubber soles. The old boots are wonderful but these, I afraid they will do me no good in the snow. I am elderly so I am worried.
