Just Right
Finally shorts I can wear! I’m in my 50s and petite (5’3” and 125-ish) with an athletic build, so I have thighs and a butt. These shorts in a medium fit comfortably without being tight or baggy, and don’t ride up! Amazing! I’ve been wearing them casually, on weekends, and even just walked a very sweaty 5K road race while wearing them! No ride-up, no chafing. I should probably buy another pair now while I’m thinking about it.

Not For People With Thick Thighs
These shorts gave me a friction burn on my inner thigh.
I noticed the rubbing start halfway through a 12 mile hike. I had gotten sweaty on a steep uphill, and after that the legs started riding up. I spent the rest of the hike tugging the legs back down, but friction of the shorts against my thighs was getting worse and worse.
I've worn many pairs of shorts and hiked thousands of miles, and have never experienced anything like this. It's bad. If your thighs rub together when you move, I do not recommend these shorts.

I bought two pairs of these and I absolutely love them. I’m pear-shaped and short (5’ 1”) and these are flattering, not too tight, and not too short.
