Good Mitt

I bought these a couple months ago and they are excellent mitts. They kept me warm while hiking and camping everywhere.

Great Cold Weather Mitten

ultra warm liner and extremely durable gortex shell used for skiing in adverse conditions

The Baker-alti Combo

I have both the Baker II Mitts and the Alti II Mitts. Having both lets me mix-n-match depending on the temperatures and activity and I've found them to even better as a combo. There are a few changes I'd like to see, though: 1) The baker mitts should have a more durable mitt tip--the palm material should extend over the fingertips, 2) The liners should have more durable palms--these are marketed as 3-in-1 but the liner shells are too lightweight to hold up to much on their own, making it more of 2-in-1 mitt in reality, and 3) I wish the liners were black so I could not feel ridiculous wearing them on their own. Even wishing for those changes, I still do like these mitts and would buy them again.

Would Not Recommend

I bought these last week and was excited to have my first pair of premium mitts. These mitts are awful. The tightening strap broke immediately even when I was very careful on the second side. This allows snow to get down into the glove liner on the inside. Glove liner does not stay in the mitt well, and I spent more time messing with these than I ever have spent thinking about my mittens in 20 years of riding. Over-engineered and seems like they were never tested by actual skiers/snowboarders. 150 days on goodwill mittens and my hands have never been as wet/cold as when I wore these mitts on a bluebird day.

Outstanding Mittens

I run cold and these keep you very warm. The glove liners are good quality too, much makes a big difference. Ice coast approved!

Disappointed

I was so excited finding these mittens on sale. Unfortunately I was very disappointed as I had to use 3 handwarmers in each glove.

Baker Mitts

Hands down best ski/snowboard mitts out there. Keeps hands fully dry even in the wettest conditions possible (think pouring down rain on the mountain, hands still completely dry). Inserts are warm and removable. Extremely durable. Can't get anything better. Run true to size.

Warm And Durable Gloves

I have taken these gloves on multiple ski trips and loved using them. They are extremely warm and have kept my hands dry in stormy conditions. the outer shell provides great weatherproofing and durability while the inner lining provides warmth. My only complaints are that it can be too warm in nicer conditions and the inner liner can come out when taking off the glove. I would recommend this glove to anyone skiing in stormy or cold conditions looking for something that will hold up for years

Just An Empty Shell

just an empty shell, no liner just an inner glove. The outer is useless without the inner and the inner is useless without the outer. They used to do one with a lining (not a separate and useless second inner glove) that would allow the glove to be used with or without a fleece second inner glove. Seems like the desire to charge more over ruled the desire to provide something useful. You already sell a high insulation mitt, this is the 2 part version. I look forward to buying a more useful glove when you get back to making one.

Warm And Verstatile

Used downhill skiing and touring. Very versatile, like the inner glove cause you can take the mitts off if you need to make adjustments to equipment. Only thing is that the string snapped but can be fixed. More for advanced activities.

Bomber Gloves

The heavy duty outer shell keeps the keeps the water out and your hands dry and the liners keep your hands nice and toasty. I use these in an Alaska back country trip during the springtime and my hand stayed warm at single digits and nice and dry during warmer days when things were melting. This item is great for novices or experienced that country enthusiasts. One note of caution is the insulated liner started on stitching in my ring finger, but I called OR and they sent me a complete replacement, no questions asked.

Best Mitts For Wet And Cold Weather

Great bang for the buck and very warm with decent dexterity.

Used In The Artic Circle

I purchased these mittens for a trip to the Artic Circle and they performed very well. They kept my hands very warn and were water resistant. One complaint, the wrist tethers could be a bit of a pain to secure in extreme cold. Otherwise, an outstanding cold weather mitten that kept in the heat for hours on end to include dog sledding at night. I highly recommend for temps from 0-20 degrees F without an issue.

Great Glove

March Spring Break Ski Trip. Got one size up and fit perfectly. These were my backup gloves until thinner gloves got wet and had to swap to these for a powder day at Purgatory CO. Snow was very wet and temperatures ranged from low 20s at the summit to just around freezing at the base. Gloves were on the warm side but hands did not start sweating. Comfortable all day, snow stayed out, and hands were dry. Great for colder weather but never got to find the lower limits.

For The Win!

Used these at during the last storm cycle at Baker, worked great! Knees weak, palms were sweaty.
