Four Season Utility And Style

Provides excellent warmth in a very lightweight format. Stylish enough to be worn all day as a casual shirt in the colder seasons, but functional enough to make a serious mid layer for my cold weather outings. I also like to carry mine in my pack to throw on for quick barrier against the chill on cool summer mornings/evenings in the mountains. There's so little weight penalty I can take it everywhere without a thought. A great piece for adding insulation year round.

Incredible Warmth, Comfort, And Breathability.

[Employee of mountainhardwear] One of the best mid layers I've ever worn. The way it pulls moisture off of the skin is extraordinary. I've worn it during long sweaty approaches in the snow and on sunny desert days and it shines equally well in both scenarios. Perfect layer to moderate your body temperature during any activity that changes ace frequently.

Warm

warm but the seams are rather thick and can be annoying and uncomfortable if not wearing something underneath it. Otherwise, nice casual for around the house

Color

I bought 4 of these. - The red in the pic is more like a burnt orange when you get it. - The Black Sage is definitely green, I should have looked harder at the picture. The other two grey & blue are about correct from a color stand point. They fit well and are nice quality, just wish color was on the internet was true for what you actually get.

Just Bought This

Just got this last night. I bought it as a mid layer for backpacking and snowshoeing. I bought a medium which was snug on me but was able to layer my capilene light weight top and T-shirt under it comfortably. I’m 5’9” and 165. My only complaint so far is that the stated weight is 5.9oz and on my scale it is 8.9. Usually things I buy are within 0.5oz of listed spec. Seems comfortable and well made and I only plan to carry it occasionally for late fall they early spring trips to layer under my puffy if needed.

Perfect Fit

I'm slim in build and 5'11" in height. The size medium Microchill 2.0 T-shirt fits me perfectly. In fact, if it was any narrower in the shoulders I probably wouldn't keep it, but it's perfect. The "black sage" color is very nice. I will say that I was expecting the fleece to be somewhat lighter in weight given that it's called a "T-shirt." But it's pretty much what you'd expect in a light weight fleece.

Long Lasting

After a year of use, both on the trail and in the office, it remains as soft as when I purchased it.

A Versatile Product

I love this product however the sleeves are too long for me so I had to return this however in terms of quality the product is awesome and I would highly recommend if you can do away with the long sleeves

Quality

These are slightly larger fit than the older versions.

Get It While It's On Sale

I'm very happy with this piece. The fit is good and it s a rather thin fleece which is exactly what I was looking for to wear over a baselayer and under a down jacket.

Perfect 3 Season Top

I bought the Microchill primarily as a mid layer for skiing and fat biking. It works great for that purpose, but also as a main top for what has been a cool start to spring. Light but very warm. Looks and feels great after a few washings. 5'8" 165 lbs, I debated med or large and opted for the lrg. Fits well, sleeves a fraction long, but a medium would've been quite snug.

Super Soft Fleece

Fleece has a great quality soft feel to it, noticeably nicer than fleece zip ups from other brands. Only issue is the fleece was a bit long in the body. Sleeve length was good, but the fleece stuck out of my shell jacket and ended up wet from being out in the rain. Otherwise happy with the color and material of the 1/4 zip fleece.

Excellent

Wore this as a mid layer while snowboarding and it was great. Fit me great and kept me warm.
