Good, Almost Great.
Construction seems to be top notch (we'll see how it holds up). Works well as a light shell for split boarding but also warm enough to layer up and ride in cold weather on piste. My only complaint is that the powder skirt is about six inches above the bottom of the jacket (higher than any other jacket I've had) so it sits well above my waistline. The skirt is pretty snug and the grippy silicone makes it grab your mid-layer, even when the skirt is unbuttoned! Its always twisting my mid-layers and makes me feel less mobile in the jacket. Not an issue if your using bibs but otherwise it feels like a major oversight.

Another Great Jacket From Mtn Hdwr!
After having an insulated Mtn Hdwr for several years I bought this to have a complimentary shell. Just like the insulated jacket, I love this one too! Great quality, plenty of pockets and functionality. I’m 5’7” 180lbs and got a large, it’s a little on the long side but that’s probably because I’m short. Would definitely recommend.

Good Jacket, Poor Snowskirt
Overall this jacket is pretty good. The hood is super adjustable making it easy to fit how you want. It fits well, looks nice, seems pretty sturdy, and keeps you dry.
The snow skirt doesn't fit very well. The front is several inches higher than other jackets I've owned. It ends up riding up well above my waist really easy. There is a clip on the back of the snowskirt which is pretty uncomfortable if you forget to clip it to your snowpants or don't have somewhere to clip it to. The clip actually broke off mine after only using it a couple of times.
It would be nice if the armpit vents were a little bigger to allow better ventilation.
