As Described

Only tried them on so far but the color and fit are great. Seem well made. Very sturdy material, a little heavier mil than my other pants, but should be ok for cold weather and maybe spring too considering the leg vents. I like lots of pockets and these have just three. Wish there was a back pocket but no big deal. Looking forward to trying them out.

My Review Was Removed

MountainHardwear- Why did you remove my 1 Star review and also that of another user? These are a poor design of pants with an intrusive seam and poor pockets

Very Warm, But The Sizing Was Off

I originally purchased these pants in a medium (my standard size) but because they were too tight had to exchange for a large, which were a little bit too large. I decided to make them work with a belt and suspenders, and am glad I did! They kept me warm and dry on the ski lifting a day that started in the mid teens for temperature and snowed throughout the day. Overall, an excellent pant for snow sports

Good Looking But Very Basic

These are a good looking very basic pair of ski pants. the outer material is quite a bit different than I’ve seen on other mountain hardware clothes (a bit shiny). I have the golden brown pants which I get compliments on. I deducted one star for the really crappy gators. like most mountain hardwear items the quality has gone down and lack of details gone up ever since Columbia bought them. The gators on these pants are way too short - gators in ski pants should be at least as long as the pants themselves and even maybe even a bit longer. but these are about 4 inches shorter than the pants so they barely cover the top of a boot and when you bend down they will just pop right off. My previous mountain hardware pants had a really nice gator with a thick elastic band imprinted with mountain hardwear - the ones here are just really short generic gators with a thin elastic - clearly just done to save money. I also removed a star because all previous pants used to have an elastic waist adjustment with Velcro. these do not, so you will need to buy a belt. so even though these pants are cheap you’ll probably have to pay some money to lengthen the gators as I did and you will need to buy a belt, Another observation is that the insulating material is quite thin - not a bad thing has thinner material is nicer on a warmer day and you can always just add a thicker base layer, but just thought I would let you know that the insulating material is thinner than previous pants I’ve had from mountain hardwear.
