Bought this to do some hang training on, it’s got a good finish and is comfortable to grip. The larger jugs on the top are nice too when you don’t feel like crimping too hard. It’s a piece of wood with holes drilled into it, what’d you expect.

This board has a great mix of holds! No pinches but really pinch block is best for that anyway. Solidly built, though rather than using the included wood screws (which others have mentioned as slightly flimsy) I used #10 bolts which fit just right and a matching T-nut in the backing board for a much stronger attachment that won’t strip out in the future, easily available at local hardware store. I would highly recommend this board!

Great board. Simple selection of well-milled wooden holds that are progressively more difficult and make for an excellent training tool. Plus, unlike plastic, it doesn't trash your skin! Minor complaint is that I wish some of the smaller edges were even smaller, but that's all.

Quite pleased with this hangboard. It is smooth to the touch, feels good even on sore hands, installed easily, covers all the options most climbers would use and a decent price to boot. I keep mine in the kitchen, which is where I spend most of the time and can easily hop on several times a day.

I'm still very much inexperienced with hang-boarding, so take this with a grain of salt, but I thought the quality of the board is really nice and installation went really smoothly according to their directions. I'm really happy with my purchase so far!

Super comfy to use and has all the variety of holds I really need, from warm up to advanced training. Also really great quality. Couldn't really see why I'd ever need to get a more expensive board.

I bought this about a month ago during the height of the winter when I felt that my climbing muscles were fatiguing the most. I'm so glad I did because I finally got back out on a wall yesterday afternoon and was crushing routes. Sure, the fingers are a bit sore still, but this board absolutely helped. If you are a novice-intermediate climber, this board is totally worth it. Easy installation, sturdy and reliable use, a must have for anyone who wants to take climbing semi-seriously.

Great training board, a lot of good positions and looks great too. Top slopers are extremely difficult as I am in pandemic shape, but other are getting easier to hold for longer periods as I strengthen my hands. Buy it.

Very happy with the quick delivery. Great product for training. I should have purchased this awhile ago. Arrived at my door and was up in place with in 20 minutes.

Just got this and had on of the resin versions before this. Wood is much easier on the hands. Has decent variety, easy to install over door frame.

Bought this about a month ago and pretty stoked. Combined with the matching wood backboard - it mounted beautifully above my bedroom door. Matches the house decor and is super subtle. Doesn't draw a ton of attention like the brightly colored plastic ones. I love it. Very smooth, easy to hang from. I'll definitely be making good use of it!

Bought this bad boy and decided to give it a couple goes before I reviewed. Overall, I love this product! It's a super great training board that makes up for lack of campusing these past few months while gyms were closed. I got this board on sale, and it was worth every penny! I definitely recommend! I agree with the comments that said to buy your own 2x4 and screws to attach this. I would not trust the ones provided :P

I love that nobody really notices that it’s there, I’m not a super experienced climber but I like the grips for practicing hanging and the grips at the top are nice for ‘almost’ regular pull-ups

This hangboard was the right price, and looks great with a little teak oil. I mounted this bad boy up on some plywood just to preserve my walls. Aside from the aesthetics my lats are starting to look swol... which is cool.

Wood hangboards will always be better than their plastic counterparts. You can train way harder without damaging your skin. This hangboard is great with a wide range of holds. A solid choice for the price.
