Good lightweight shoe. Broke in very quickly. Arch support is not as high as my previous Merrills but still comfortable. Only minor concern is that I can’t wear very low socks, the top of the shoe irritates my ankle. Waterproof so far but haven’t tested in a driving rain yet.

Took these to Scotland for a long trip. You don’t need any time to break them in. They are very comfortable.

This is my 4th pair of Siren Edge shoes, but my first WP pair. I have loved my previous pairs. I got my regular size 8 and have walked 2miles several times a week and have trail walked 2miles weekly since March 2026. I wanted the shoes broken in really well before we take a family national park trip in Sept., but they are still rock hard and feel like walking on cement. The toe box is so hard I can hardly wait to take them off when I return home. It’s too late to return and I will have to find another style. So sorry about this.

These hiking shoes are incredibly comfortable, lightweight, and provide excellent traction on a variety of trails. The waterproofing works great, keeping my feet dry without feeling bulky. Best of all, even after miles of hiking, they haven't aggravated my plantar fasciitis—a huge win for me. Highly recommend!

We went on a hike in vintgor gorge in Slovenia and shoes were perfect for the wet terrain, rocks and mud. Walked for 3 miles and no issues with blisters or feet hurting and mind you, this was my very first time wearing them.

I ordered the size I have worn for years… the tag states the correct size but the shoes are definitely too small…

Absolutely love the Siren Edge 3 Waterproof hiking shoes. I’ve been wearing them around for errands to get used to the feel and they feel as perfect as my older Merrell low hiking shoes/boots . I bought these mainly for some upcoming trips to Ireland, Greece and Turkey where I plan to do a bit of hiking but didn’t want to bring my heavier pair. Coupled with their comfort and being waterproof they will be the perfect addition to my travel footwear. I have worn an 8.5 medium in Merrill's for close to 20 years and the sizing is still spot on.

The comfort and good look of these shoes is done in true Merrell style. They fit well in the heel and allow for a good wool sock to be worn without being too tight. The tread is excellent and allows for sturdy hiking on rocky or muddy trails, and they are waterproof!!

I purchased these on line. Fortunately, Merrell has free returns. These fit very narrow even with thin socks.
It’s the third time I have purchased these shoes. I keep buying them because they have good support and they are waterproof. Great for walking our dog wherever her nose takes her. They’ve changed the material over the years… more plastic-like material… but they are still very dependable.

I bought these for an April trip to Uganda. I needed something that would be comfortable and waterproof in a warm climate that I could wear on the mountain gorilla trek. They were fabulous. The trail was muddy and slick and the Merrells did the job. We hiked 2 hours, one way, and saw a troop of gorillas. My feet did the hike in comfort.

Love the look of the shoe (black/acai) True to size though stiff at first, and I had to add arch support for my pronating feet. The shoes broke in after about three hikes and now are very comfortable. I never got blisters during the breaking in period. Wore them last night for a 45 minute walk with the dog in a consistent downpour and my feet were completely dry.

I have this shoe and I love it, but my puppy chewed a shoelace and I think it’s a discontinued color. J034442. Where can I get a replacement shoelace?
