Sizing Is Very Strange
I have always been an 8 in Merrell but the size 8 this time was short on me. My toes were fully against the front. I ordered the 8.5 as well thinking it was just a weird size and initially they felt better when I tried at home. But the first hike I went on the front of my feet were sliding around on the downhill, while the heel was very tight. Long story short. These are unfortunately a lemon and I wish I hadn't taken them out and made them unreturnable. I wouldn't trust them for another long hike as my feet were very insecure. Will likely be donating and eating the cost :(

Wonderful supportive comfortable hiking boots. Wore these hiking in the Rocky Mountains, North Cascades and Olympic. They provide a bit more cushion than the classic Merrell hiking shoes. Very comfortable when worn with a good pair of hiking socks. My only complaint is the only color options are light and white. I got the blue and light blue and while they look pretty when you first buy them, they instantly collect dust and dirt.. especially in the drought conditions near Aspen this year!

Didn’t Hold Up
I wore these hiking for months, they did not last feel like I’m walking on pavement my feet hurt after months of wear. I never had an issue with previous hiking shoes from Merrell. These did not hold up and in colder temps my feet were got cold and just an awful experience with them. Only had them 8months too. I love the style and the lightweight of the shoe but just didn’t hold up for basic hiking or everyday wear. Very disappointed
