Not Good In Gravel, Sandy Lake Water
I bought these as water shoes. These are certainly comfortable enough, but stones, gravel, and sand easily get into them while in the water (lake water) Not happy that I have to keep taking them off to get out the pebbles, sand, and gravel frequently. Have reverted back to my cheap ones. Will wear these as shoes I guess.

I just came back from a canoe trip where I wore my Hydro Mocs the entire time. They walked beautifully through water, over sand and wet rocks, and stayed on my feet even in mud. They were so sturdy and comfortable on portage trails while carrying my canoe, I didn’t have to change into hiking boots. Big plus!
