Uncomfortable!!

Quality of the shoe is great, but by far the most uncomfortable pair of merrell shoes I've owned. Stayed with my normal size from past merrell shoes but consist have heel slip lacing is either too loose or too tight to prevent any type of heel slip

Keep These For Your Easy Trails…

These shoes are okay for light hiking. Having them in the moderate category is a mistake in my opinion. They were fine on my local trails in Virginia. Took them out to Acadia National Park with me and boy was that a mistake. Way too much flexibility for the roots and rocks (boulders actually); sole did not grip at all traversing those. Glad I brought my trusty Moabs high cut with me. I felt secure in those. These shoes are really comfortable and zero break in but they also means near zero stability.

Ok, But Wouldn’t Buy Again

OK, but not exactly what I expected. I t looked more like the Speed Fusion Stretch in the photos and these are definitely not them. Also the inserts slide around a bit, which is annoying

Only Waterproof For Short While.

I’ve had these shoes roughly 3 months. Top fabric is already tearing and they are not waterproof anymore. I work at a municipal water plant. Waterproof shoes are a must. My feet get wet easily. I’ll be switching back to keens.

I bought this pair of Merrell shoes and have worn them twice for hiking. Very comfortable and good quality.

Too Thin For Me

I bought this for use on vacation in Portugal, Spain and Rome. Every day was miles of walking on cobbly streets and very hilly. The shoes were very comfortable at first, with grippy soles and good looking, but too thin and flexy for my old flat feet. Even with my orthotic insoles I was sore every day and they were unusually hot. I switched to my Teva sandals for the next two weeks and was fine. I should have gone with a Moab Vent.
