Overall very good. A different feel to other Merrells I have worn - much stiffer, but lots of traction.

These are so cute, comfy, and durable, I am so impressed by this shoe! I was moved to write my first internet review ever because of my experience today, where these shoes really excelled. I spent four hours moving my little brother out of his college dorm room (carrying boxes up and down stairs / across streets) in 95+ degree weather. These were so comfy the entire time and kept my feet cool. Literally I could not have done it without these shoes. A bonus was that their cute-ness kept my morale high when the moving got tough. After moving we went straight to a local punk/hardcore concert. I usually wear my boots but forgot them so wore the mary janes. I was a bit nervous about this, but they performed amazingly!! I spent almost two hours in the mosh pit, jumping around and running into people. I was so worried a strap would come undone and the shoe would fly off, but THE VELCRO STRAPS HELD THE ENTIRE TIME!! And I was never flat-tired!!! I am shocked!! Also, I was worried about being stepped on/getting them dirty but shockingly left with no major stains; this off-white lace color was resilient! Finally, I usually have post-concert back pain from so long standing at a concert, and have to do many stretches/twists/etc. But I had none today thanks to these shoes! TL;DR: I was in many physically active situations today and these shoes performed wonderfully. I bought them because I love mary janes and wanted a sneaker/comfy shoe and these exceeded all my expectations!!

If I were to buy enough of these shoes for the rest of my life I would! They are that amazing. I tell everyone they need a pair

I have had the SpeedArc Matis for about a month and love them. They are a bit narrow but so are my feet.... Lacing system is nice just pull and lock. They are very comfortable for walking and have not had any roll as other reviews stated. I would purchase again.

Way too tight. Very uncomfortable. Had to return them
Privileged Redneck
Light, durable, all purpose shoes. I am happy with them.

I bought these to help with my Achilles Tendinitis. They have the cushion. The 8mm heel to toe. As a well as a stable footing with the extended base or underside of thw shoe. Love the funky colour. I tried a Hoka and it really made everythibg worse for me. This shoe is not perfect to fix my issue, but it has done great thongs for me. I wish I had an outdoor pair and an i door pair (slippers). Will have to wait

Wore these shoes for about two weeks, and they are completely trashed. I went to a music festival in Vegas and another in Washington. Washington had more rough terrain but majority of the time I wasn’t doing anything crazy. So for barely two weeks of owning them and how worn out they are, not at all impressed.

Very comfortable and great support for walking and standing for long periods. More comfortable than the hiking shoes Merrill 3.

Shoe is comfortable but the green cushion part came all torn as if someone had already worn them and there was a couple stains on the fabric mesh
Have been a Moab hiking customer for years (have about 5 pairs, although I am not sure I really wear them out vs wanting new colors, styles and high vs mid-height. These are crazy comfortable and although only have about 20 miles on these new shoes, they may just be my new favorite. Just bought another pair to use for everyday (replacing a pair of HOKA's).

These are QUALITY shoes with a capital "Q". That said, they are a little heavy which they WOULD be for trail walking, but I walk on asphalt in my neighborhood almost 100% of the time, so I do not need the extra weight. The shoes ARE very comfortable!

These shoes are narrow. I have narrow feet so I really like them. Very comfortable. The looks are questionable but in mostly black it hides some of the weirdness.

I really don't bother taking time to write reviews but I have been pretty impressed with these Speedarcs. I did not buy these for hiking or running so this review won't apply to that. I purchased the Nori colorway of these in April 2026 with plans to wear them during a trip to Japan. I'm on my feet all day at work so I'm always looking for a comfortable sneaker that won't leave my feet aching at the end of the day. During the week I wore this throughout my trip I averaged walking 10-12 miles a day and these Speedarcs offered just the right amount of support and cushion for my feet. The midsole is not spongey like some of the maximum cushioning shoes I've tried (Hoka Clifton for example) so you don't get that feeling like you're walking on marshmallows. But they're not so firm that you feel like you're walking on bricks. These are more comfortable for all day wear than the New Balance 99X series shoes I have (990 V6, 992, and 993). I didn't experience any squeaking like some others have mentioned. The toebox on these is roomy and I tend to look for sneakers that have a bit wider toebox. So I would say sizing on these is true to size as I went with a 10 in these. In comparison I always have to go with a 10.5, sometimes even 11 in most Nike footwear. The one caveat is the mesh on the top of the toebox does allow water through pretty quickly. So the gore-tex version may be a better choice if you wear these in rainy weather. But overall I really like these shoes and am planning to order another pair or two in other colorways.
