Wonderful Shoe

I bought them to do some moderate hiking in Oregon/Washington. Honestly can’t speak highly enough about these hiking shoes. Theyre comfortable, light, and still give you everything you look for in a hiking shoe. Also the gore-tex is incredibly waterproof. Tied them tight and was in water that was over the tounge of the shoe and got no water inside

Please Find The Color Palette Again

I have three pairs of the original Moab Speed. Nice shoes. Light, supportive and comfortable. Oval lugs don’t grab at all on wet or leafy surfaces. Current ones have no personality. Colors range from tan all the way to greige. What happened to gold, Tahoe blue, and brick red? Been waiting for the palette to show up because my originals have lost their waterproofing at the seams.

Good But Could Be Better.

Good hiker, GoreTex is great but tiebox is rounded and with a heavy sock, even the wide width gives a cramped walk. I would also say the inside footbed has significantly changed for the worse. It is a good shoe, just not what a great Merrell shoe used to be.

I found the Gore Tex to be a little heavier than the non Gore Tex version. Also, the Gore Tex version made my feet sweat because the fabric didn’t breathe. Unless you really want waterproof, go with the non gore tex shoe. You’ll be happier on long walks.

I have had many pairs of various Moabs and always order 14W I ordered these in 14W and were way to Long by about an inch. Exchanged for 13W and are still a tiny bit long. Otherwise great quality , comfort and looks. Walk a few miles a day in these like them a lot.

Great For Golf

I bought these shoes less than a month ago, I mainly got them for the Golf Course. They work excellent for those cool dew filled mornings to keep my feet dry. I also found out they provide better grip when in wet conditions. I no longer feel like I am spinning out of the shot or losing positive contact with the ground. I have tried other traditional types of Spikeless Golf Shoes and these seem to work the best. Also, for reference they do not cause damage to the greens. I would highly recommend these for play on your local course.

Fit Is Not Right.

1st I currently have 4 pair of Merrell shoes & have been wearing Merrell for 10+yrs. I was happy to see this shoe -color/Gore-Tex and purchased. My shoe size for all Merrell shoes is a 12. Two weeks after shoes arrived I wore them to an event. I was surprised when I realized they didn't fit right and cased a sore on my right foot. So I went online to order a size 13 and found to my disappointment they were no longer available. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! I still hope a similar shoe/navy blue/gore Tex will be available. All shoes I wear are size 12.
