Really comfortable and give you a massage while you walk great shoes
Matthew
Fit very nicely cause a little bit of rubbing on bare feet but over all very comfy. Was hoping to be better bare footed.

I bought these to replace a pair that were 3ish years old and in that time, they changed the width from wide to medium and I had to return them sadly. I loved them so much but sadly the narrower fit didn’t agree with me :(

Great Merrell product. Use them all around the cottage and mostly for water sports like paddle boarding.

Gave me blisters and couldn't wear them. Gave them to salvation army.

Great for wet weather but they pinch/rub against my ankles

I’ve owned and enjoyed many pairs of Merrell shoes over the years. I had great expectations for these shoes. I wanted something to wear while gardening that I could use while barefoot, moving in and out of the dirt. With the slightest bit of moisture, even just my slightly sweaty feet, they became dangerously slippery for me. Forget about watering my plants/garden, as even a couple steps proved treacherous. The Merrell website suggested they run small, so I ordered accordingly. When I somehow managed to keep my feet dry enough to wear them, they gave me blisters. I still love the brand, and just ordered a pair of trail runners. These were a total dud in my experience.

I bought Hydro Mocs for use around the house in warm weather. Shortly after I found myself crewing a dive boat and found they provided far better traction on a wet deck than the water shoes I had purchased for that purpose. Since then they’ve become standard kit whenever I’m on a boat. I’ve also started bringing them along hiking to do deeper water crossings, wear around camp, and change into them to give my feet a break when I’m done. The only complaint I have about them is that rocks, sand, and dirt get in through the vents too easy, otherwise they’re great!

I bought these at the beginning of this summer for wearing around the water and specifically for boating. I couldn't be happier with the comfort and fit! The only downside I can possibly find with these shoes is that when I take them off I have ridiculous tanned spots on my feet from the design of the shoes. And I'm getting used to the look of that. I have never had a more comfortable water shoe.

Almost unbearable to walk any distance further than the mailbox. Had raw heels and ankles after a short walk, the tread is also very slippery in water. Would not recommend. They look cool though…

Very nice looking and comfortable shoes. Suitable for many occasions in summer.

Great water shoe, perfect for the canoe. Also very comfortable for walking the dog! Super easy on/off. And very durable: almost 2 years of daily use (I wear them at work). I notice the new pair I bought fit a little more snugly to my foot, less clownish, which is great. They're not great on rocky ground, like on a portage trail, because you feel the sharp rocks.

Great summer wear all around. Even works as a boat shoe w superb traction
Matt
It doesnt get better than these. They run big, but they're super comfortable and last a lot longer than expected given how soft and squishy the material is. I give these out as gifts now and they're always a hit. If you're on the fence, just get them.

I use this exclusively for backpacking. It's my river crossing shoe and camp shoe. Very pleased with it thus far.
