Good Shoes,bad Laces

I have owned a number of pairs of Merrill shoes.The comfort is great and the sizing always spot on.However the big complaint I have is the laces are constantly becoming untied.I put on anywhere from 12 to 13 steps per day in my job.No matter what I do they are untied,it gets real annoying having to tie your shoes 10 to 15 times per day,not to mention unsafe.

Love Them, But Have One Suggestion For The Company

I've had and worn these for a couple months now and I'm blown away. I've found my new favorite shoe brand. I actually bought these for work as I do deliveries to new construction sites and homes and am always walking through rough terrain and boots are too hot in the summer for me. The breathability and durability in these are unmatched. Comfort is so good, that I actually wear these just out and about and not just at work at times. These are amazing. The only reason I have 4 stars and not 5 is because I so so SO wish Merrell would make a shoe with a composite/safety toe and possibly a puncture resistant bottom that would be better suited for my application. Get back to me on that Merrell, you could call it the Taylor. 😎🤙

Comfortable When Broken In

Back of the shoe would rub on my ankle. I loosened up the back and it "popped". After this the shoes are extremely comfortable. I wear them for hiking, sometimes for work. Definitely worth the price, as I had bought them on sale.
