A Great Trail Shoe

I bought these at the end of my running season to break them in for next year and so far I love them! I've put 200km into them so far and I'm still very happy with them. They have performed well on dry and wet technical terrain (single track, rocky, rooty dirt trails) which is predominantly what I run. They fit well even with my wider foot. My only regret is that I didn't buy them sooner.

Right Out Of The Box Comfortable.

Super comfortable out of the box and the soles are great. A tad warm in warm weather but Gore Tex waterproof are going to be that way. They are true to size. I am really enjoyning them.

Light And Durable

Bought these as I had great experience with the Moab Speed 2 GTX but had worn them out and wanted something a bit lighter. Been using them pretty consistently and happy with the fit and comfort, even got to go through some rain and they handled well!

Merrells always fit me perfectly and provide great support and durability. The Agility Peak 6 gore tex are no exception. Im in my late 70s so whether I'm hiking or just around town for errands, these are the only shoes I ever wear anymore. Thank you Merrell.

The Best Shoes I Own!

First I would like to say these are the most comfortable shoes I own. I wear these for 16 hr days while on fire assignments and they provide all day comfort and the only time my feet get any aches is when I stand still for more than a couple hours. They are meant for running or walking and they excel in that I have climbed extremely steep hillsides and trails and have unbeatable traction that anyone would love. I highly recommend these shoes for anyone

Comfortable And Functional

Used for hiking on wetter surfaces and performed well. Very comfortable.

Lace Tightener Broke

I owned a pair of these shoes and the lace tightener broke off after about wearing a dozen times. This makes the shoes unusable.

Uncomfortable

These shoes look great and I wanted to love them, but when I tried them and walked around the house for a few minutes, my toes started to feel pressed on the sides. It didn’t feel like I needed a larger size, they just felt uncomfortable. I guess because they are GTX and the sides are reinforced, they are less flexible and push hard against the toes. I had to return them.

Agility Peak 6

I replaced my Agility Peak 5 shoes with the same size Agility Peak 6, however, the fit is not the same. The Agility Peak 6 feel wider. I can overcome this by pulling the laces tighter but this somewhat puckers the shoe. In general, they feel comfortable and are waterproof which meets my needs for trail runs and day hikes.

Agility Peak 6 Is A Great Shoe

The Agility Peak shoe is very light and very comfortable. I feel like I could stand or walk for a long time wearing these shoes. Having Gore - Tex makes it even better, you can wear it in any type of weather

Great Value, Phenomenal Utility

Perfect shoe for trail running or an all-terrain waterproof sneaker. I also wear mine when I work on the grounds crew at a local golf course. No more morning dew making my socks wet for the whole day!

Over All Comfort And Fit Is Great.

One big issue I have is the toe area. Everytime I take a step and lift my foot, it sounds and feels (on your toes) like plastic popping back in place. Luckily I use these for bike riding. But is annoying when I'm walking in them.

If You Loved Fit Of Peak 5, You Will Hate These!

Why do you guys take a shoe that people love for several generations largely because of the fabled Merrell fit, and change it without warning to a completely different last that changes the volume in the toe box? There is only sizing fine print "True to size with secure run-ready fit." That described the Peak 5 for me, so it raised no alarms. It's looking like I will have to return these without even trying them outside to see if they will stretch any. The reinforcement at the bottom of the lace area makes it even worse by tightening down the restriction right where the foot has to flex. I would have to go to the absolute thinnest of socks to even make them bearable, and I can't even imagine wearing them for any length of time on a hot mountain day when after a couple of hours your foot will swell a bit. My climbing shoes are more comfortable than these and easier to get on. If you change the last, make a new model or option and keep the old one, or suggest a different option. At least put a wide option (not sure it would help) on the Goretex version and warn people.
