I bought this one for work and after couple of months start having a pain in my feet. Went to a doctor told me to change the shoes and pain stopped. It was good made shoes but not for me

The shoes are amazingly comfortable & we do some serious hiking but they are not waterproof! Even walk through grass with dew soaks through!

Great hiking boots, could be my perfect hiking boot with a few changes. My family of 3 have worn Merrell hiking boots and winter boots for years. The Moab 2 are lightweight, keep your feet dry and warm and give you great traction. The only reason for docking a star is the foot bed. With this last pair, I have noticed that my toes feel so smashed in the upper part of the boot, both in width and length. I’ve worn an 8.5 since I was 16 but I may have to size up for my next pair. I don’t want my hiking boots to run large and feel floppy but these just feel uncomfortable after a a mile or two. I find myself thinking about taking them off which definitely ruins the purpose of my hike. I will possibly try a wide, but again, I don’t want anything to big to cause tripping. Merrell are great boots, this doesn’t make me want to switch brands, but I may have to switch styles to look for a better fit.

My 5 yr old loves these boots and wants to wear them everywhere. We normally wear minimalist footwear and these were his transition to an actual boot. Went with the wide boot to accommodate his wide feet and thicker socks for colder outings. Great traction and he says they are very comfortable. Have yet to test the waterproof capabilities.

They run small, so we ordered a size bigger, and they hurt my daughters feet at the sides of her toes. She doesn’t have wide feet by any means.

Great shoos and boots. The most comfortable I've ever owned. They are the only shoes I buy anymore.

I wanted my 11yo daughter to be comfortable in good shoes for her hike. She didn't complain even once about her feet hurting (maybe her legs lol). We had rocky terrain, river crossings, and mud puddles. I will say these didn't seem to be very waterproof, but I had her wear thick socks and she was kept dry and comfortable.

These shoes keep your feet warm and dry in the snow. Now, when it comes to actual water, keeping your feet dry doesn’t last very long. So, durability is great! Waterproofing doesn’t last long.

My 7 year old son loves them. We got them for hikes, but he wears them everywhere! He says they are very comfortable.

The sole is a bit too stiff for my daughter especially compared to the first pair of chameleon hikers she had from merrel last summer that she out grew and I can’t find the style any more. The speed laces also seem cheap the have got snagged and bent three times already in less than a month i hope they don’t break off from being bent back into shape

Loved theses took these to big pine lakes for 12 miles and they kept me dry and from falling! True to size

Great boot for our adventurous five year old, who wore the boots on trail and while bouldering in Joshua Tree NP.

These shoes the only ones to survive a whole year of boy activity. They have been hiking, tree climbing, running, in the rain, in the dirt. They are just now needing to be replaced, but that is only because he has outgrown them. They are still in great condition. The only thing I have needed to replace are the shoelaces.

I’m an adult with pretty small feet and bought these for my everyday hikes. Recently used them in snow and was not disappointed! They’re comfortable and I felt extremely safe not slipping or falling.
