Not Worth It, Poorly Made

I’ve had this rod about 1year and used it around 10 times. Strong rod but the eyelets are coming apart…..

Great Rod For Pier Fishing.

I've had this rod for awhile and use primarily for pier fishing and for its lifting power.

Got The Job Done.

I was hesitant to bring this on a full day charter because of the price point. It's E glass rod so its durable not but sensitive. Caught 3 tuna (see photos) on it! It held up for this first charter. I can't say for sure if it will hold up next time but it did exceed my expectation. I had this paired with a Daiwa BG 6500 65lb braid and 40 lb mono topshot with a 40 lb fluoro leader. Flylining with a seeker rig down in Mexico water departing from San Diego, Ca. The reel seat barely fit the BG btw. Guides held up. Rod is still in good shape too! I wish the butt the of the rod was longer. For the price this is a steal for any deep sea water fishing. Way cheaper than all the higher end brands like Daiwas or Shimano, so it might just be worth trying.

Great Fishing Rod Firm First Nibbles Tip Jingles Right Away.

It's great for porgies,black sea bass, fluke, it's nice and firm until a fish nibbles on it then it's still strong enough to get a 5,10 lbs fish on the boat maybe more with a good reel.

needed a heavier two piece spin rod for the fishing here in south west Fla. This quality rod fit my need very well. well built and strong action. added a marathon spinning reel to finish the combo.
