I don't have much natural padding so after a couple of days of climbing, my hips are usually pretty bruised and sore. This harness was like wrapping myself with a pillow. I hung a ton of gear on it for 4 hard days and never felt anything other than plush. Another little bonus are the mini-loops at the connection point of each gear loop, perfect for hooking the keeper cord for your nut tool, phone, etc that you want hooked to you but not causing clutter on your main gear loops. I like this harness enough that I am tempted to buy a second and stash it in the gear bin for when this one wears out.

I use this for all sorts of climbing- single pitch, multipitch, sport, trad- and it’s comfy all around. The gear loops work just fine for a full rack and is not super heavy for the amount of padding and comfort it offers. All around solid harness for all skill levels.

I am 6’5”. 32-37. I’m very average sized. Not skinny or thick in the thigh. The large fit is comfortable over a belt and clothing. The harness is insanely comfortable weighted or for trekking.

Very comfy compared to thinner harnesses. Gear loops are nice and easy to use.

Great harness for all around climbing in my opinion. I specifically bought this harness because of the beefy gear loops, as my previous one’s gear loops were getting shredded. I definitely think this harness is comfier than the old model Petzl Adjama harness I was using, especially on multipitch belays. The only complaint I have with this harness is that the accessory loop on the back is tiny. It is not the same size as the side gear loops which compromises options for carrying things like approach shoes, water, misc stuff, etc. overall I like this harness and would buy it again.
Definitely the most comfortable harness I've worn, Just not the lightest.

This harness is super comfortable and supportive, though a bit heavy. The gear loops are strong, and covered in a rigid plastic. It’s easy to wear all day. I highly recommend it.

for how little it cost it truly is a wonderful harness, very comfortable secure fit and the gear loops have a good secure feeling to them

Love this thing! This one fits the bill for me, it’s comfy but not too clunky, in the day where most harnesses are turning into G-strings I really appreciate something with a little more padding and just as flexible. My legs change sizes throughout the year depending on the activity I’m concentrating on so it’s nice that the leg loops are adjustable. If the gear loops where a little bigger or there was a third one it would be perfect for big trad climbs, but I pretty much use it for sport climbing.
My first harness was a Mammut back in 2006 and after a long break from climbing I started back at the gym. Went with a brand I trusted and had history with but this is way more comfortable than what I used to have. I know it's not an apples and oranges and comparing the two isn't fair but I'm pretty spoiled with the wide waist belt on this harness. I got the XL and the waits is great but wish there was just a touch more adjustment to tighten the legs but it still feels fine. I'm currently only hooking to auto belays at the gym and it's a pleasant ride back down. A few unexpected falls as well and it's been flawless.

The gear loops are angled in a way that keep things organized and in place. I really like the wear indicator technology, good job Mammut. And as the title states, this harness is very comfortable. The only thing I could pick at would be the plastic inserts inside of the tie in points. The sharp edges of the plastic are causing premature wear on my webbing I use for extended rappels.
Lives up to the name of the model - all day comfort and easy to adjust. High quality product.

This harness has every feature I needed and is comfortable to boot. It has 4 ice clipper locations that are subtle and sleek. The gear loops rack cams and draws really easily. The lower tie in point is reinforced with plastic, preventing excessive wear from happening. It also features very helpful wear indicators that reveal themselves when the harness is worn too far in key structural areas. Excellent design and would recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable Sport/trad/ice/alpine harness.
6ft and 160. order a large for the layers while ice climbing. Turns out I need a medium. So I ordered another one! Large was ok with 3-4 layers including shell. I am just picky, I want my adjustments to be flush. I have a 29.5 inch waist. The harness looks super cool and has all the basic features for ice rock ect. Some people may think its a little bulky for a harness, but thats what adds the comfort. The adjustments for the leg loops are capped out and only tight maybe 3 inches? SO consider that, the legs on the large fit just barely at full tightness. Although those never really have to be tight let alone snug.
