This probe is light and quick to deploy. I carry it when I'm skiing bowls or back country
This is my first probe seems great! Never have had to use thankfully, but feels well made, light weight and was on sale... made it a no brainier!
I found that the locking mechanism wasn't as fast as I was expecting. That said, it's a great product I have used in emergency settings and bought one for myself after seeing the one I borrowed in action.
Great probe. Simple. Does everything a probe needs to do without being too complicated. Quick to deploy and easy to read depth measurements
Decently light and easy to deploy, all you need in a probe.
A great probe for touring in the back country. Will definitely have to get another longer one as some places that we tour need longer probes for safety purposes but this is an awesome piece of equipment.
