Compact Probe
Purchased this to probe for crevasses on Glaciers. It folds up short and can be clipped to your harness or pack straps. Well made, too short for Rockies snow pack and AVI but perfect for checking bridge thickness.

Seems Like Their Is A Fault In The Design
They look and feel great. But once extended and locked there is a weird thing where you can't keep the probe under tension. when you plunge it into the snow it's fine but when pulled back up the sections open up and the probe gets full of snow! This happens every time and we have two of them and they both have the same problem. We replaced these with BCA probes that are way better.
